How To make Grilled Lemon And Gin Marinated Chicken
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon rind
1/4 cup gin
2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 teaspoon
-- dried oregano salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 whole skinless boneless chicken breasts
In a shallow dish whisk together the lemon juice, the gin, the oregano, the salt, the sugar and pepper to taste, add the oil in a stream, whisking, and whisk the marinade until it is emulsified. Add the chicken, coating it well with the marinade, and let it marinate, covered and chilled, for 20 minutes. Grill the chicken, reserving the marinade, on an oiled rack set about 6 inches over glowing coals for 7 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked through.

INGREDIENTS
3 LARGE CHICKEN BREASTS
For the Marinade
1/2 cup olive oil
3 Tbs lemon juice
3 Tbs soy sauce
2 Tbs balsamic vinegar
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp each garlic and onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste ( i used 1/2 tsp each salt n pepper)

▶ Kochrezept und Zutaten:
3 Hähnchenbrust
2-3 Esslöffel Mehl
3 Esslöffel Butter oder Pflanzenöl
Pfanne vorheizen
2-3 Minuten bei starker Hitze goldbraun braten
4-6 Knoblauchzehen
umdrehen und weitere 2 Minuten braten
Salz, Pfeffer
Hitze auf mittel reduzieren
1,5 Esslöffel Butter oder Pflanzenöl
3 Esslöffel Honig
1 Esslöffel Sojasauce
1½ Esslöffel Apfelessig oder Weinessig
Sauce zum Kochen bringen und Hitze reduzieren
köcheln lassen, bis die Sauce eindickt, dabei die Hähnchenbrust regelmäßig wenden
150 g Weißkohl
Frühlingszwiebelfedern
150 g Rotkohl
1/2 blaue Zwiebel
1 Paprika
1 Gurke
1 kleine Karotte
Saft von 1/2 Teil Zitrone
1 Tomate
3 Esslöffel Sauerrahm
1 Esslöffel Mayonnaise
1 Knoblauchzehe
1 Teelöffel Senf
Salz, schwarzer Pfeffer
Fertig ist ein leckeres Abendessen mit Hähnchenbrust und Gemüse!

Sweet, spicy and flavourful. Chicken marinated in gin and lemon.
Drunk Chicken
2 full chicken legs – separated into thighs and drumsticks
Zest of one lemon
1/3c. gin
1/4c. extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of salt
2tbsp. brown sugar
½ onion thinly sliced
Juice of ½ lemon
1 small red or green chili pepper (optional)
In a large shallow oven proof dish mix the gin, olive oil, lemon zest and salt together
Add the chicken pieces and coat well
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour
Remove the chicken pieces and pour the marinade into a small pot
Oil the dish and place the chicken back in cover with foil and bake at 375F for 30min
Meanwhile add the onion and thinly sliced chili pepper (if using) to the marinade and bring it to a simmer allow the onion to soften
Once the onion has softened stir in the brown sugar and simmer another 10 min
After the chicken has been in the oven for 30 minutes remove the foil and brush with the marinade
Increase the temperature to 425F
Leave uncovered and return to the oven for another 30min brushing with the marinade every 5min
When golden brown remove the chicken from the oven and arrange on a serving dish
Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken scattering the onions around
Serve with rice and salad or your choice of vegetables
