How To make Equal Dutch Apple Pancake
BATTER:
4 Eggs
1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Skim milk
2 tb Diet margarine; melted
1/8 ts Cinnamon
FILLING:
2 tb Diet margarine
1 Tart apple; *
1/2 ts Cinnamon
GLAZE:
8 Equal packets
1/2 ts Cinnamon
3 tb Boiling water
* Large; pared and sliced 1/4-inch thick Combine batter ingredients in blender or food processor; mix until smooth. Let rest 30 minutes. For filling; melt margarine in a 10-inch oven proof skillet. Add apple slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and toss over low heat for 3 minutes. Pour batter over apples and place in preheated 425^ oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Blend glaze ingredients and drizzle over top of pancake. Cut into 4 wedges to serve. Makes 4 servings, 1/4 pancake each. Dutch Baby~Baked Pancake~EASY Breakfast Treat
Dutch Baby or baked pancake recipe:
*note: everything at room temp!
Oven 425 degrees
3 large eggs
2/3c. milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
heaping 1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c PACKED reg. white flour
3 Tbls clarified butter
In a blender, put everything but the butter and blend until smooth. Have cast iron 10 pan on high heat until lightly smoking; add butter to pan. Add batter and bake in preheated oven 20-25 minutes. Cut into 4ths and serve with desired toppings: fruit, jam, maple syrup, powdered sugar etc.
