The Best Homemade Chili Recipe???? | Easy Delicious Comfort Food
Hope ya'll enjoy! The ingredients list is kinda long, but once you get all of your ingredients together everything else is a piece of cake! From time to time I like to experiment with different flavors to see what I can come up with. This is one of my many ways to make chili. It's so GOOD! Feel free to take out any ingredient that you don't like, this recipe is very forgiving.This chili taste BEST when served immediately after cooking.
*THIS IS A SLOW COOKER RECIPE*
Chili Recipe
Here's what I used in the video:
Power Quick Pot ( I'm using a 10 Qt)
1 Green bell pepper
3 Celery stalks
1 Yellow onion
5 Garlic cloves
2 lbs. of Ground beef (I used 80/20 lean)
2 Tsp Oregano
2 Tsp Brown sugar
2 Tsp Coriander
4 Tbsp Chili powder
3 Tbsp Ground Cumin
2 Tsp Dried Thyme
1 Tsp Smoked paprika
1/2 Tsp Dried Basil leaves
1/2 Tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (to taste, gradually add more as needed)
Salt to taste ( I used 1 1/2 tsp)
1 Bay Leaf
4 Tbsp Green onions
2 16 oz Cans Kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
1/2 cup canned Black beans
1- 28 oz Can Hunts Diced tomatoes (with juices)
1- 29 oz Can Hunts Tomato sauce
1- 14.5 oz Can Swanson Chicken broth (low sodium)
2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce

- 1 Can Mixed Chilli Beans or Preferred Bean
- 1 Small Green Bell Pepper

- 1/4 Cup Beef Broth or Water

SEASONINGS- Feel free to use a Chilli Seasoning Packet in place of the seasonings listed below:

TURKEY + VEGGIE CHILI RECIPE
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 small or ½ large onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1.25 lb. extra lean ground turkey
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 (15 ounce) can low sodium diced tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can kidney chili beans
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 zucchini, quartered and chopped
3 cups fresh chopped kale
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oil in a large pot over a medium high heat. Add in onions along with a pinch of salt and sauté for 5 minutes or until fragrant.
Stir in garlic and peppers and cook for 5 more minutes. Add in ground turkey, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper; breaking down the turkey with a spatula until you have small crumbles.
Once the turkey has turned from translucent to opaque add in the beans, tomatoes, and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add in the zucchini and kale, turn down to a simmer and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the veggies are tender.
Serve with your favorite chili toppings. Enjoy!

This easy turkey chili is a healthier option than beef and can be made in big batches to freeze for all winter long. Add any toppings you like!

????INGREDIENTS:
◾️2 tbsp olive oil
◾️1 lb lean, ground turkey (93/7)
◾️1 whole onion, diced
◾️1 large bell pepper (whatever color/s you like)
◾️1 small jalapeno, diced
◾️2 garlic cloves, minced
-Cook everything for 10 min on medium heat before adding rest
◾️2 tbsp tomato paste
◾️1 bag mild chili seasoning (or make your own mix)
◾️¼ cup dry, red wine
◾️½ tsp black pepper
◾️1 tsp salt
◾️3 cans drained and rinsed kidney beans
◾️2 cups chicken broth
-Cover partially with lid and let simmer on low heat for 45 min – 1 hr
Toppings = green onion, cheddar cheese, cilantro, whatever your heart desires ????
