Turkey Quiche || Mitigating food waste || Cook with me!
This is a basic quiche recipe, with ingredients that can be subbed out based on what you currently have in your refrigerator. It's a great way to use leftovers!
Turkey quiche recipe:
1 packaged pie crust
1 pack deli meat
2 C shredded cheese of your choice
1 diced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2C frozen spinach, thawed and drained well
1 C half and half
4 eggs
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
Ground black pepper, to taste
Grease pie dish, fill with pie crust, cover with parchment paper and weights. Bake at 425F for about 10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare your filling ingredients. Sautee onion until translucent, add spinach, and finally garlic just until fragrant. Mix together half and half, eggs, and seasonings. Layer meat, veggies, and cheese in 2 layers, then top with custard mixture. Bake at 375F for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until quiche has cooked through. The filling should be fairly firm and not too jiggly in the middle.

Easy Chicken Quiche | Leftover Thanksgiving Chicken or Turkey | How to Make Quiche
Chicken Quiche
Ingredients:
9 inch pie shell (not deep dish)
8 oz of shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese (or a combination of both)
½ cup of finely chopped chicken or turkey
4 eggs
1 cup of half and half
1 teaspoon of salt
¼ of a teaspoon of poultry seasoning (optional)
Additional seasonings to taste
Par-bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees. Allow pie shell to cool slightly. Sprinkle cheese and poultry in pie shell. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cheese mixture.
Bake pie at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

Feel free to be creative and switch it up with your favorite cheeses, vegetables, or meats to make it perfect suit your taste!

Ingredients:
1 pie crust refrigerated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 tbsp scallions
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F and place frozen pie dish into refrigerator to thaw.
2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
3. Once the pie crust is thawed, pierce the bottom with a fork then sprinkle the ham, scallions, and 1 cup of the mozzarella and cheddar mix into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
4. Bake for 25 minutes covered then cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes if the crust starts to brown too much.
5. Once the center is completely set, let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
