chopped,
1 pk Yellow cake mix without
1/2 c Veg. oil
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Amaretto
1 t Almond extract
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Water
2 tb Butter
1/4 c Amaretto
1/2 ts Almond extract
-divided -pudding 1 sm Pkg. instant vanilla pudding
4 Eggs
Sprinkle 1 c. almonds into bottom of a well-greased and floured 10" tube pan; set aside. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, water, amaretto, and almond extract in a mixing bowl; beat on low speed of an electric mixer til dry ingred. are moistened. Increase speed to md, and beat 4 min. Stir in remaining 1/2 c. almonds. Pour batter into prepared tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hr. or til a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 10-15 min.; remove from pan, and cool completely.
Combine sugar, 1/4 c. water, and butter in a sm. saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to med., and gently boil 4-5 min., stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and cool 15 min. Stir in 1/4 c. amaretto and 1/2 ts almond extract. Punch holes in top of cake with a wooden pick; slowly spoon glaze on top of cake, allowing glaze to absorb

Ingredients and Measurements:
1/2 lb. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. Unsalted butter
1/2 lb. brown demarara sugar
6 large eggs
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1.5 tsp. Freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 cup amaretto (use 1/2 cup if you want more)- you can also soak the cake
butter and flour to grease the pan

INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon white vinegar
3 cups all-purpose flour*
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
2 3/4 cup Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
**( I use 1 3/4 cup regular sugar)**
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons almond extract
1/4 cup amaretto
Amaretto Sauce
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/3 cup half & half
3 tablespoons amaretto
Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with baking spray or butter and flour it. Set aside.
In small bowl, whisk together milk and vinegar. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In large bowl of stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and almond until well combined. Beat in flour mixture alternating with milk and amaretto.
Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, until center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow cake to cool completely (in bundt pan) before inverting onto cake plate.
Amaretto Sauce:
Combine the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring often, until smooth. Add the cream and amaretto and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
Serve pound cake warm drizzled with amaretto sauce.

Pound Cake Recipe
1 1/2 Cups of Unsalted Butter (Softened to room temperature)
2 Cups White Granulated Sugar
1 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
5 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
1 Cup of Sour Cream
1 Tbsp of Amaretto Liqueur
1 Tsp Pure Almond Extract
1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
3 Cups of All Purpose Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp of Salt
*Bake at 325 Degrees for 1 hour and 10 to 15min
*Oven temperatures Vary so make sure to check cake at the 1 hour mark with a toothpick then bake for additional 10 to 15min until toothpick comes out clean with no wet batter.

2 Cups of Sugar
1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
1 Tbsp Amaretto Liqueur
1/2 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
