HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER MEATLOAF (GUARANTEED MOISTNESS)
Simple slow cooker meat loaf recipe with two tips on how to cook moist meatloaf everytime. I believe the key is the amount of breading to use. Using enough breading guaratees the juices remain in the meatloaf and not drain out into the bottom of your slow cooker. Another key is to soak the breading before adding it to your gound beef. Following these two tips will give you moist meatloaf everytime. I also show you how to make a delicious sweet glaze topping.
Shopping List:
1 lb chuck ground beef 80/20
1 small minced sweet onion or 1 tbs of dried minced onion
1 box of Stovetop Stuffing (6 oz) Savory Herb stuffing mix
¼ cup whole milk
½ cup milk for soaking the stovetop stuffing
1 large egg
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tsp. kosher salt
¼ teaspoon course black pepper
2 tbs. glaze (see below)
Non-stick spray
Brown Sugar Glaze:
1 cup ketchup
¼ cup light brown sugar
1 Tablespoons finely minced onion
½ tsp. yellow mustard
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
In a bowl, add the glaze ingredients and mix. Set aside.
In another bowl, add the bag of Stovetop stuffing to ½ cup of milk and let soak for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, add the ground beef, milk-soaked stuffing mix, egg, milk and 2 tbs of the glaze. Gently mix together. Do not over work the mixture or it will be tough. Form the mixture into an oval shape. Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours to firm up before cooking. This is an optional step.
If you use slow cooker liners, place the liner in the crock pot first then add a piece of foil in the crock pot and form along the bottom and ends. Add some non-stick spray—this will assist in removing the meatloaf when it’s cooked. If you use a crock pot rack, place it in next.
Spread about 2 tbs of the glaze on the top of the meatloaf.
Cook on low for 4 ½-5 hours. The internal temp should reach 160 degrees for doneness.
When done, grab the ends of the foil and lift out. Place on a baking tray, cover in glaze and place under the broiler until it’s sticky and bubbly.
Let rest for 5-10 minutes.
Serve over mashed potatoes.

This cheesy crockpot meatloaf is classic deliciousness!
You'll need: 1 lb ground beef, 1 large onion, 1 tsp garlic, 1 cup catsup, 3 tbl Worchestershire sauce, 2 tbl honey, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 pack onion soup mix, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and optional potatoes & carrots to fix up this recipe.

¼ tsp ground black pepper
Glaze:
1 cup ketchup
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp prepared yellow mustard
To serve:
Potatoes and vegetables of your choice

0:30 In a large mixing bowl, combine all your ingredients for the meatloaf. Mix until evenly incorporated.
1:17 Lay a sheet of foil into your crockpot, place your meatloaf mince on it, then enclose with the excess foil.
1:32 Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
1:37 While waiting, prepare your glaze by mixing all ingredients together.
1:51 Once the meatloaf is cooked, pour the glaze while the meatloaf is still in the crockpot. Spread until it covers the entire meatloaf.
2:06 Cover and cook on low for another 30 minutes.
2:09 Once cooked, carefully remove it from the crockpot. You may need to drain it.
2:14 Portion accordingly. Serve with roughly ¼ cup of potatoes and vegetables of your choice.

Slow Cooker Meatloaf
SLOW COOKER MEATLOAF
Classic meatloaf made in the slow cooker with great results! Fall will be here any day, save this recipe for later.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
3 large eggs
1 cup diced white onion
1 cup diced red or green bell pepper
⅓ cup ketchup
¼ cup milk
¼ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. salt
¼ pepper
25 saltine crackers
2 lbs. 10% fat ground beef
For the Sauce:
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
6-quart oval
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large bowl, add the eggs ,onion, bell pepper, ketchup, milk, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Crush the saltine crackers in next, and mix this all together with clean hands. Add the meat next, only mixing everything until it just comes together.
Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick spray, and shape the meat into a loaf on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Cover, and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours, without opening the lid during cooking time.
Scoop out the fat with a spoon, discard.
Mix together the sauce ingredients, and spoon over meatloaf.
Cover and cook for 30 more minutes on LOW if you want to heat the sauce. Serve and enjoy!
