How To make Crockpot Beef with Mushrooms

beef sirloin tips

shallot, chopped
1/2
pound
mushrooms, fresh, sliced
1
each
can beef broth
1
teaspoon
worcestershire sauce
2
teaspoon
tomato paste
1/4
cup
dry red wine
3
tablespoon
flour
1
buttered noodles, hot
Directions:
Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly. Place in crockpot. Add shallots and mushrooms. Combine beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
One hour before serving, turn to high setting. Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crockpot, mixing well. Cover and cook until thickened. Serve over hot buttered noodles.

1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb brown mushrooms, thickly sliced

Slow Cooker Cube Steak with Mushrooms & Onions Recipe Noreen's Kitchen
Greetings! Here is another great slow cooker recipe that is perfect for any night of the week. Cube steaks are often on sale and sometimes it's just nice to have a slow cooked option that is simple and satisfying.
Throw those steaks in some seasoned flour. Toss them in the slow cooker and add some delicious mushrooms and sliced onion, a bit of Worcestershire sauce and even a few squirts of ketchup if you like. The dish will cook and make it's own light gravy perfect for ladling over hot mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, quinoa or even couscous. Side of steamed veggies and you have a very easy, very hearty meal ready when you get home from a busy day at work or at the end of a lazy Sunday.
