PHILLY.INQUIRER:
2 3/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Cream of tartar
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 3/4 c Sugar
1 c Margarine -- softened
2/3 c Milk
1 t Vanilla extract
3 lg Eggs
2 Square unsweetened chocolate
Melted Powdered sugar for dusting Optional
In large bowl,combine flour,cream of tartar,baking soda,salt and sugar. Add margarine,milk,vanilla.Beat on medium speed,for about 2 minutes,to blend ingredients.Add eggs and melted chocolate,beating another 2 to 3 minutes to blend.. Turn into greased 3 1/2" deep tube pan and bake at 350 deg.for 1 hour and 10 minutes,or until a toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean.. Remove from oven and cool in pan for 15 minutes,then invert pan and carefully remove cake.Serve warm or cool,dusted with powdered sugar if desired.Makes approximately 12 servings..

Weight of Cake- 2 Pound or approx 1 Kg
Cake tin used- 8 Diameter
Measuring cup used- 200ml
All purpose flour or maida- 2 cups or 300 g
Cocoa powder- 1/2 cup
Sugar- 1 cup or 200g
Refined oil- 1/2 cup
Milk powder- 1/2 cup
Baking powder- 2 tsp
Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice- 1 tsp
Water- 1 cup
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
For decoration
Ready Whipped cream- 1 cup
Chocolate syrup- 2 tsp
Chocolate sprinkles

TODAY'S RECIPE IS Basic Plain & Soft Chocolate Sponge Cake Recipe Without Oven | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
Basic chocolate plain cake
2 eggs (substitute 1/2 cup curd or 1/2 cup condensed milk) *if u r using condensed milk then u have to use 1/2 cup sugar not 2/3 cup*
Beat for 1 mins
Sugar 2/3 cup
Add gradually
Beat until foamy consistency
Oil 1/2 cup
Beat for 1 mins
All purpose flour 3/4 cup
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Add gradually
Milk 1/4 cup
Vanilla 1 tsp
7 inch pan
Brush oil
Place baking paper
Place a stand & heat the pan for 5 mins on medium flame
After 5 mins place the mould
Cook it on low flame for 30-40 mins or bake in a preheated oven at 160c for 30-40 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

1/2 cup oil (125ml)
3/4 cup milk (190ml)
1/3 cup yogurt (100g)
2 tsp vanilla (10ml)
2 cups all purpose flour (250g)
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (90g) Spooned and leveled (try to use a good quality pure cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder (10g)
1 tsp baking soda (5g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1/2 tbsp instant coffee (5g)
1 cup hot water (250ml)
Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup chocolate chips (175g)
1/2 cup hot heavy cream (125ml)
