How To make Chocolate Fudge
3 c Sugar
2 oz Unsweetend Bakers Choc.
1 c Evaporated milk (Carnation)
1 t Vanilla
1 T Margarine
2 T Peanut Butter (Optional)
Stir until liquid then over a low heat bring to a slow boil. Stir very little while cooking. Cook until 1/2 tsp of fudge dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. (About 7 -8 minutes). Take from stove and add vanilla and margarine. (For Jan's add Peanut butter). Beat until it is about the consistency of Pudding. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan. When it is almost firm mark your cuts. When cool finish cutting and remove from pan. Enjoy. This recipe was used during World War 2..for sending to the US Marines fighting overseas.. This fudge is incredibly easy to make and has a rich creamy indulgent flavor. It is exactly like gift shop fudge which sells for $10 to $20 per pound depending on where you are shopping. You can make this for about $2 per pound and it literally only takes about 2 minutes. It is perfect for gift giving, something quick to take to an office party, holiday get together, potluck or hostess gift. No one will have any idea it was so easy to make.
This is a kid friendly recipe. There is nothing hot enough to cause a burn and it doesn’t require a long attention span.

Ingredients
Dark Chocolate - 450 Gms
Unsalted Butter - 2 Tbsp
Condensed Milk - 350 Gms
Cashew Nuts - 1/2 Cup
Badam - 1/2 Cup
Pistachios - 1/4 Cup
Raisins
Water
Method:
1. Dry roast cashewnuts, almonds, pistachios in a pan for about 2-3 mins on a low flame.
2. Roughly chop them and keep them aside.
3. Boil enough water in a saucepan and place a large bowl over it.
4. Put dark chocolate in the bowl and add butter to it.
5. Add condensed milk and mix everything with a spatula until all of it is melted fully.
6. Remove the bowl from the saucepan once the chocolate mixture is thickened.
7. Add roughly chopped nuts and raisins to the chocolate.
8. Mix well until it is all well ccombined.
9. Grease the tin with some butter and line it with silver foil.
10. Transfer the chocolate mixture to the tin and spread it out evenly.
11. Let it sit aside to cool down to room temperature.
12. After that, cover the tin totally with the silver foil and let it set for 3-4 hours.
13. Refrigerate for a hour post 4 hours if you want the chocolate to harden at bit.
14. Remove the silver foiled chocolate from the tin and cut the chocolate into small pieces.
15. Yummy and rich chocolate fudge is ready to be served. Store it in an air tight container.
