AIR FRIED STEAK FINGERS | Richard in the kitchen
In this video I show y'all how to make air fried steak fingers. Chicken fried steak fingers is the ultimate comfort food. They are super easy to prepare and cooking them in the air fryer makes it even easier. When they come out, they are beautifully golden and super crispy. Served with homemade country gravy and fries.
Shopping List:
1 lb. round cube steak, tenderized. (yields about 6 fingers)
2 cups all purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
5 or 6 Club or regular saltine crackers, finely crushed
Cooking spray
Country gravy (instruction not show)
Directions:
Pre-heat air fryer on 390 for 3 minutes.
Note: If you think your cube steak needs more tenderizing, lightly pound with the teeth side of a meat mallet.
In one bowl, add 1 cup of flour and season with 1/2 the salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
In another bowl, add the eggs with milk and beat.
In a third bowl, add the other cup of flour and season with the other half of the salt, pepper and the garlic and onion powders. Mix to combine.
Finely crush the crackers and add them to the third bowl of seasoned flour.
Slice the cube steak against the grain for maximum tenderness into about 1 inch strips.
Lightly spray the pre-heated air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Place the breaded steak fingers in the basket and arrange in a single layer.
Lightly spray the top of the fingers with cooking spray and cook on 390 for 7 minutes. Flip, spray the other side with cooking spray and cook an additional 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy.
Salt to taste and serve with country cream gravy.
Enjoy!

How To Make Steak Fingers (Proof They're WAY BETTER At Home!)
The Best Steak Fingers Recipe!
Whether you're a Dairy Queen fanatic or just looking for a quick fix dinner idea the kids will love, these homemade #steakfingers are a win-win!
???? ⬇️ ???? ⬇️ ???? ⬇️ ???? ⬇️
You can print out the recipe here:
Steak Fingers are a beefy fast food staple put on the map by #DairyQueen, also known as the #Texas stop sign! One of their most popular menu items is Steak fingers, which is pretty much just #chickenfriedsteak in handheld, dippable form. It's quick and easy to make, and a recipe we can always count on to please the entire family.
They always come with a side of country gravy, and I would also highly advise a heaping pile of mashed potatoes as well. And, you might have to serve it with something green to balance out the fried food and the carbs!
Just like with my chicken fried steak, these Steak Fingers come with a flavorful, extra crispy coating and a perfectly tender beefy interior.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Tenderizes Cube Steaks
- Flour
- Salt and Pepper
- Eggs
- Whole Milk
- Crushed Saltine Crackers
- Canola Oil
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Cut the Cube Steaks – If you can't find cube steaks pre-packaged as strips, you can turn them into strips yourself. To do this, cut each steak into 3 strips and set them aside until ready to use.
2. Set Up Your Dredging Station – Have a dredging station ready with three rimmed trays or pie dishes. In the first tray whisk together flour, salt, and pepper. In the second try, combine milk and eggs. For the third tray, whisk together flour, cracker crumbs, salt, and black pepper.
3. Heat the Oil – Add your oil to a large frying pan, Dutch oven or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and allow the oil to come to temperature.
4. Batter the Steak Fingers – Dredge each piece of steak first in the flour mixture, then the egg wash, and lastly, into the flour-cracker mixture.
5. Fry the Steak Fingers and Serve Hot – Next it's into the skillet. Before you begin frying, be sure to have ready a rimmed baking sheet, lined with paper towels. If you want your Steak Fingers to stay crispy on the bottom, place a cooling rack over the paper towels. Then, add the steak fingers to the oil in batches, taking care not to overcrowd the skillet. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
Serve alongside Mashed Potatoes and Homemade Country Gravy and enjoy!
