Chocolate Brownie Cake
This chocolate brownie cake takes everyone’s favorite chocolate cake and adds in brownie mix to create a divine combination! Rich fudge brownie mix is blended with chocolate cake batter to make this unbelievably decadent chocolate dessert.

Ingredients
For the Cake
1 (16.25-ounce) box chocolate cake mix I used Triple Chocolate Chunk
1 (18.3-ounce) box fudge brownie mix
4 large eggs
1¼ cups water
1 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup chocolate chips I used semi-sweet chocolate chips, but you could use milk chocolate or dark chocolate
For the Ganache
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl combine chocolate cake mix, brownie mix, eggs, water, oil, and mayonnaise. Stir or mix with a hand beater until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Lightly spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread batter evenly into a bundt pan.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, or with just a few crumbs.
Cool cake for 10 to 15 minutes; remove from bundt pan to cool the rest of the way on a cooling rack.
When cake is cooled, prepare ganache.
Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan or in a microwave-safe container until steaming.
Pour cream over chocolate chips in a small bowl.
Cover with a plate for 2 to 3 minutes to contain the heat and allow the chocolate chips to soften.
Whisk until the mixture forms a smooth, glossy ganache.
Pour ganache over cake and serve.
Notes
Carefully run a rubber spatula around the sides and center of the bundt pan before removing the cake to help it come out cleanly. Place a cooling rack on top of the bundt pan and then invert it to remove the cake from the pan.
Don’t allow your cream for the ganache to boil! When it’s steaming, it’s ready.
Place a clean baking sheet under the wire cooling rack before pouring the ganache over so that the drips are caught for easy cleanup.

This recipe makes 16 brownies with each box of cake mix. I'm using a 9 x 9 square baking pan.
Recipe ingredients ????
Strawberry Brownies
1 x Duncan Hines Strawberry cake mix
1/4 cup oil
1/4 melted butter
2x large eggs
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
2x drops red food coloring
Red velvet Brownies
1 x Duncan Hines Red Velvet cake mix
1/4 cup oil
1/4 melted butter
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
2x large eggs
Mix together your cake mix, oil, butter and eggs together in a bowl until fully combined. Add in your white chocolate chips and fold it with a mixing spoon.
Bake in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes for a more done brownie. Bake for 15 minutes for a fudgy brownie.
Garnish your brownies with melted white chocolate drizzle and Valentine's Day sprinkles.

I finally mastered FUDGY BROWNIES! I won't use another brownie recipe again

If you're looking for an indulgent, fudgy brownie that is extremely flavorful and not cloyingly sweet, this recipe is it! Literally one of the best brownies I've ever had! With that beautiful shiny crinkled top (which took me a while to figure out ????), and gooey, rich interior, this will be your new favourite brownie recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ cup (105 g) dark chocolate - I use 50% dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate chips okay too
- ¾ cup (90 g) flour - regular, all purpose
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter - room temperature or melted
- ¼ cup (53 g) unflavored vegetable oil - I use canola
- 1 cup (200 g) white sugar - granulated
- ½ cup (100 g) soft brown sugar - packed, see note 1 on blog
- ⅔ cup (75 g) cocoa powder - unsweetened
- 1 tsp coffee powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence/extract
- 2 large eggs - room temperature
NOTE: In the video I mention 1/2 a cup or 100g of butter, but it should be 113g of butter as stated in the ingredients list above :)
Bake at 160 °C (320°F) with the fan on for 22-25 minutes depending on how fudgy you want your brownies to be (I recommend 22 minutes). If your oven doesn't have a fan option, then you will need to increase the baking temperature to 175°C (347°F). Once done, poke a toothpick into the center and it should come out dirty.
