The EASIEST One Pan Supper - Beef & Cabbage Skillet | Cosmopolitan Cornbread
This is one of the easiest one pan suppers you could ever make. And it's healthy too!

THE RECIPE:
1 lb ground beef (lean is preferred so you don't have to drain drippings)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 head of green cabbage
1 Tb coconut aminos
3 cloves garlic, minced
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp paprika
Cook the ground beef and onion powder in a large skillet (that has a lid) until the beef is browned and cooked.
Add in the coconut aminos, garlic and the cabbage. Cook on medium heat with a lid on for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add in the salt and paprika, and cook until the cabbage is to the doneness you prefer.
Serve with cooked rice if you like.

Ground Beef and Cabbage Casserole
Ground beef and cabbage casserole is a delicious dairy-free and gluten-free dinner that can be made ahead of time and baked when you’re ready to eat. It’s made with ground beef, onions, garlic, herbs, rice, tomatoes, cabbage, and cheese. This healthy dish is perfect for busy nights when you want a tasty meal but don’t have much time to make it.
1 pound ground beef
3 tbsp olive oil
1 medium white onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp herbs de Provence
1 cup rice
1 can tomato puree
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 2⁄3 cup beef stock
1 medium white cabbage, shredded
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2⁄3 cup parmesan, shredded

Today I'm sharing my grandma’s Ukrainian Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls made with any ground meat, rice, chopped cabbage and savory tomato sauce. She would roll cabbage rolls before work but on busy days she made this lazy man version. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ CLICK FOR RECIPE ⬇️⬇️⬇️
►INGREDIENTS:
1 large onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp oil
1 lb ground turkey or any meat
1 cup brown rice, uncooked
3 lbs cabbage, coarsely chopped
28 oz can tomato sauce, low sodium
14 oz can diced tomatoes, low sodium
2 cups water or any low sodium stock
1 tbsp oregano, dried
1 tsp thyme, dried
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp honey, maple syrup or sugar
1 tsp salt
Ground black pepper, to taste
3 bay leaves
Fresh dill, parsley, green onions and yogurt/sour cream for serving

►DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat large and very deep non-stick skillet or 5-6 quart Dutch oven on medium-high heat and swirl oil to coat. Add onion and garlic; cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add turkey, rice, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper; cook for 10 more minutes, breaking into small pieces and stirring often.
3. Add broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, vinegar, maple syrup, cabbage, bay leaves and stir well. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low and cook for 60-70 minutes. Do not open!
4. After check if rice is cooked and if not (mine was) add 1/4 cup water, cover and cook for another 5 - 10 minutes.
5. Serve warm topped with Greek yogurt and herbs.

A complete meal that just happens to be keto-friendly. In the video, I said half cup of sour cream, but in fact I used 1 full cup, which is the correct amount. Ingredients are listed below:
Crunchy Cabbage Skillet Dinner
Ingredients for 4 generous servings:
Olive oil -- about 2 tablespoons
5 tablespoons butter
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Grinds of black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Half head of cabbage, thinly sliced or shredded
2-3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup full-fat sour cream

Ingredients:
1½ lb green cabbages, sliced into ½-inch strips
2 lb ground beef
3 oz red onions, chopped
3 tbsp olive oil
⅔ cup uncooked long grain rice
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
4 cups tomato sauce
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
⅓ cup brown sugar
Salt & ground black pepper to taste
To serve:
Chopped parsley
⬇️ How to make Layered Cabbage and Ground Beef ⬇️
0:09 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
0:13 In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, vinegar, & sugar. Whisk until sugar has dissolved completely then set aside.
0:33 Heat up a skillet with oil over medium heat. Add beef & saute until browned.
0:50 Drain off any excess fat if there is any. Next, add the onions, rice, chili & garlic powders and continue sauteing.
1:15 Season with salt & pepper then mix to combine.
1:32 Layer half of your cabbage strips into your baking casserole then spread the meat mixture over the cabbage.
1:51 Top your casserole with the remaining cabbage strips, then pour the tomato sauce mixture.
2:07 Cover with foil, then bake in the oven for roughly 90 minutes or until fully cooked through.
2:28 Portion accordingly, & garnish roughly ¼ teaspoon of parsley. Serve while hot!
