Blueberry Clafouti is a French dessert topped with icing sugar and whipped cream. See which ingredients to use, steps to take, and get cracking!
Ingredients:
2 cups (500 mL) blueberries
3 eggs
1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
1 tbsp (15 mL) melted butter, cooled
1/2 cup (125 mL) all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) salt
1 cup (250 mL) milk
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla icing sugar
1 cup (250 mL) whipped cream
Variations:
Instead of blueberries, try other fruits such as raspberries, pitted cherries, or sliced apples, pears or apricots. You’ll need enough fruit to cover the bottom of the dish (2 to 3 cups/500 to 750 mL).
Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom to the batter.
Use almond extract instead of vanilla.
Instead of whipped cream, serve with ice cream, crème fraiche or vanilla yogurt.

Blueberry Clafoutis
This clafoutis is a beauty! In our summery SoCal take on the French classic, we’ve added a little thyme-infused butter to the batter and sprinkled it with fresh blueberries. It has a light, eggy texture and a delicate flavor — those warm berries are a treat.

Pear and Blueberry Clafoutis ~ Fruit In Custard
This easy dessert is great for when you buy a lot of fruit and are looking for something different. Great served warm or cold.
The dishes I used to cook it in can be purchased here:
Here’s a link where you can purchase an immersion blender, very useful in the kitchen:
Ingredients:
Butter for greasing your baking dish
1 large ripe pear and a handful of blueberries (about 1/4 cup)
Sugar for coating your baking dish
2 eggs
3/4 cup of half and half
3 TBS of flour
1/3 cup of brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Grease you baking dishes with butter and coat with sugar.
Peel and core your fruit, cut in half and cut into slices.
Spread your fruit in your baking dish.
Add eggs, half n half, flour, brown sugar, salt and vanilla to a bowl (or jar of blender) and mix for about 1 or 2 minutes.
Pour custard over fruit and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 40 minutes. Or until custard doesn't jiggle.
