Making a Fortnite Treasure Chest Cake and V Buck Cupcakes
It is Abby's birthday! She still loves Fortnite so I made her a treaure chest cake and V Buck cupcakes!
Deer themed baby shower cake with Simply Iced
I made this deer themed cake with strawberry cake and cream cheese frosting! Yum!
The cream cheese recipe I used (makes 1 batch): -8 oz of cream cheese (the blocks not the tubs), softened to room temp -1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, softened to room temp -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -1/4 teaspoon of salt -4 cups powered sugar* Combine butter and cream cheese and beat with a stand mixer until creamy and lump free. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir. Gradually add powdered sugar, with mixer on low, until well combined.
*I only used 2 cups per batch and everyone loved it like that. So I'd say add 2-4 cups per batch to taste.
I'll be making no fondant cakes every week so be sure to come back! Any ideas for a cake? Want me to remake a cake with no fondant? Let me know in the comments!
