This Butternut Squash topped gluten-free pizza is one of my favorite things to make. It's super healthy (fiber, protein, antioxidants (like beta carotene from the squash)), amazingly delicious, pretty to look at, and fun to make. Whoever said vegans can't have pizza wasn't so creative.

Healthy Black Bean Dip Spread and Pizza Sauce
Make this healthy bean dip/spread/pizza sauce and it will disappear!

Black Bean Dip/Spread/Pizza Sauce:
1 16-oz can black beans, drained
1 4-oz can chopped green chilies, undrained
1 tsp. bouillon
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried cilantro or trimmed fresh (so much better!)

1 large shallot
2 garlic gloves

Simple Black Bean Nachos Vegetarian Recipe
A piping hot plate of nachos is always a popular crowd pleaser. This simple black bean vegetarian version is so gorgeous that we are sure even the meat lovers will love it too.

Here's the recipe and cooking instructions:
Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Serves: 4
Recipe ingredients
- 1 bag Proper salted tortilla chips
- 1 can of Chantal Organics black beans
- 1 Can of Chantal Organics chopped tomatoes
- 3 tsp Mrs Rogers Cajun seasoning
- A handful Mainland Grated tasty cheese
We made our black bean chilli in a Le Creuset Signature Cast Iron Low Round Casserole
Cooking instructions
1. Preheat the grill to 200°C.
2. Drain and rinse black beans and place in a small saucepan over a medium heat along with tomatoes and Cajun seasoning. Simmer until heated through.
3. Spread corn chips evenly onto a baking tray and top liberally with tasty cheese. Place the baking tray under the grill until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
4. Pour bean mixture on top of the cheesy nachos and devour!
Serving suggestion
Divide nachos onto 4 plates and top with Anchor sour cream, Superb Herb coriander and a few jalapenos for the spice-lovers.
