onion soup mix package

tablespoon
horseradish

salt

pepper

cup
ketchup
1/4
cup
milk
GLAZE:
1/2
cup
ketchup
1
tablespoon
horseradish
3
tablespoon
brown sugar
2
teaspoon
spicy mustard
Directions:
Combine loaf mixture and put into Pam sprayed loaf pan. Pour glaze over and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours.

ALL AMERICAN MEATLOAF | Simple Century Old Recipe from Midwestern Heartland | Juicy and Delicious
As American as hamburgers and apple pie, this All American Meatloaf recipe is from a midwestern roadside diner where the locals came for biscuits in the morning and their renowned meatloaf for lunch AND dinner!
Meatloaf was comfort food at every diner in America. Many good variations have evolved since the meat grinder's invention, but maybe the Best Meatloaf is this easy quick recipe that goes back to the origin.
I don't know why such a simple inexpensive recipe is SO delicious but I keep some in the the freezer all the time. It slices super easily especially when it's cold, and it tastes even better the next day when the flavors seem to blend together more and the meat flavor really dominates. I freeze a loaf with wax paper in between the slices so a slice can be broken off the frozen loaf and individually reheated, or just defrosted. So easy to grab one, tasty and filling cold for a quick snack or on a sandwich. Serve it hot with some potatoes and you'll feel as satisfied as...
Ingredients: 1- 8X4 Loaf Pan (6-8 people)
Topping- (Reserve 2 TB per pound of meat)
225g (1/2 Cup) Ketchup
60g (2 TB) Brown Sugar
15g (1 tsp) Yellow Mustard
28g (1 TB) Worcestershire Sauce
10g (1 tsp) Salt
1g Black Pepper
5g (1 1/2 tsp) Onion Powder
5g (1/4 tsp) Garlic Powder
Loaf-
55g (1 XL) Egg
20g (2 TB) Water
58g (1 Cup) Plain Shredded Wheat
910g (2 Lbs) Ground Beef (lean)
Remainder of topping
Bake 45min @ 350F then glaze with topping
Bake additional 15 minutes
