How To make 30 Minute Beef Stroganoff

Directions:
In a frying pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, brown meat. Add water, mushrooms (including liquid), and soup mix. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. In a small bowl, blend yogurt and flour; add to meat mixture. Cook and stir on low heat until mixture thickens. Serve over hot noodles.
NOTES: For greater flavor with little or no fat add, substitute no fat beef broth or some wine for part of the water called for in the ingredients.

Happy Foodie Friday! Today I share with you a quick and easy cooking recipe that I have been doing for my household for years. It may not be the healthiest of foods or meals but it's something that not only reminds me of my childhood and comfort food and I wanted to share it with you.
Are you a busy parent or someone looking for a fast meal? This Easy and Best Beef Stroganoff Recipe is not only an affordable meal, but you can also get it on your table fast. In about 30 minutes you'll have a meal for the whole family.

If you have the following items in your house - you can create this dish:
Beef (you can use chicken, but beef offers a heartier flavor). I like to use stew meat, but chuck meat or anything you have on hand that is cheap or available works.
Wide Egg Noodles - these are usually pretty cheap at the local grocery store. You can substitute for gluten free if you need
Sour cream - about a cup
mushrooms - white cap mushrooms work great
cream of mushroom soup - campbell's or generic, whatever works for you.
Seasoning and flavoring per your taste.

Beef Stroganoff / Under 30 minute/ Spicegenics
Ingredients:
Thinly sliced beef stripes - 500 gm
Mushroom - 200 gm
Onion - 1
Garlic - 2
Butter - 2 Tbsp
Olive Oil - 4 to 5 Tbsp
All purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
Beef broth/Beef stock - 1 cup
Heavy whipping cream - 3/4 cup
Sour cream/Curd - 1/4 cup
Worcestershire sauce / Soysauce - 1 Tbsp
Mustard (crushed) - 1/2 Tsp
Salt - as required
Black pepper - 2 Tsp
Parsley leaf/Coriander leaf
Method:
Fry the beef stripes in olive oil. each side 2 minutes until colour changes to brown.
Fry in 2 or 3 batches. Do not fry together. fry in single layer.
If you dont get tender stripes, pressure cook for 1 whistle without water and then fry.
Same oil, add 2 Tbsp butter and melt.
Add onion and mushroom to the melted butter and saute till water evaporates and colour changes to light brown.
Add garlic and saute for 1 min.
Add All purpose flour and saute for 1 min.
Pour beef broth / beef stock and mix well.
Add sour cream,pepper powder and salt.
Mix 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
POur heavy whipping cream and mix well.
Mix in fried beef stripes.
Check salt and pepper add if need more.
Add paesley leaf.
Let it boil for 5 min in medium flame.
Enjoy with boiled pasta, Mashed potato, Plain rice, Chapathi etc.

Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe in 30 Minutes
Watch as Better Homes and Gardens shows you how to make beef stroganoff! This stroganoff recipe comes together in just 30 minutes, making it a perfect go-to dinner during busy weeknights. To make slicing easier, partially freeze a 12-ounce boneless beef sirloin steak until it's slighlty firm. Slice off any excess fat and thinly slice the steak into bite-sized strips, making sure to cut against the grain of the meat. Set the beef aside. The sauce comes together quickly. In a large bowl, mix together eight ounces of sour cream and two tablespoons of flour. Next, add 1/2 cup of water, two teaspoons of beef bouillon granules, and a quarter teaspoon of pepper. Continue preparing this easy beef stroganoff by placing a large skillet over medium heat with two tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the steak, along with two cups of sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup of chopped onions, and one clove of minced garlic. Cook and stir for about five minutes, or until the steak reaches your preferred coloring. Add the sour cream mixture to the skillet for this beef stroganoff recipe and continue to cook it until the sauce is thick and bubbling. Serve the beef stroganoff over two cups of hot-cooked noodles, and this easy stroganoff recipe is complete. This classic beef stroganoff recipe can even be chilled for lunches the next day, saving you time tomorrow and tonight!
