How To make Smoked Salmon Canapes
1/2 (8 Oz.) Pkg. Neufchatel
Cheese Softened 1/2 ts Grated Lime Rind
1/4 ts Onion Powder
1 1/2 lb Jicama, Unpeeled
1/2 ts Worcestershire Sauce
1 tb Ground Black Pepper
2 oz Smoked Salmon Cut Into
36 Thin Strips.
3 Lime Wedges
Combine Cheese, Lime Rind, Onion Powder & Worcestershire Sauce in A Small Mixing Bowl; Beat At Medium Speed Of An Electric Mixture Untilsmooth. Set Aside. Cut Jicama Into 1/4 in. Thick Slices; Cut Slices Into 18 (2 Inch) Sqares. Cut Each Square in Half Diagonally To Make 36 Triangles. Discard Remaining Jicama. Rub The Longest Side Of Each Triangle With A Lime Wedge. Dip Side Of Triangle in Pepper. Repeat Procedure With Remaining Triangles. Pipe OR Spoon Aobut 1 t. Cheese Mixture Onto Each Triangle. Top With A Salmon Strip. (Fat 0.8. Chol. 3.)

Smoked Salmon and cream cheese Canape/ Appetizer/ Finger Food
Ingredients for 12 serve:
Chives 3 g
Lemon 40 g
Philadelphia cheese 100 g
Lebanese cucumber 120 g
Butter 30 g
Baguette slices 12
Smoked salmon 100 g
Dill 1 g
Preparation (30 minutes):
1. Finely slice the chives. Juice the lemon
2. Bring the Philadelphia cheese to room temperature, add the chives, lemon juice and seasoning and blend to combine until smooth
3. Slice the cucumber
4. Toast and butter the baguette slices
5. Pipe a small amount of the cheese mixture onto the baguette slices
6. Place the cucumber slices on top and pipe on some more cheese mixture
7. Form the salmon into rosettes and sit on top. Garnish with dill sprigs

Layered canapes of smoked salmon, cream cheese and wheat flatbread – perfect appetizer for a festive table or party that does not take much time to cook. Such canapes will become a mouth-watering decoration of your table or light and tasty starter for a dinner.

✅ Ingredients:
• cream cheese – 9 oz | 250 g
• sour cream – ½ cup
• powdered garlic – ½ tsp
• 1 lemon
• salt – ¼ tsp
• chopped fresh dill – 3 tbsp
• smoked salmon – 400 g
• wheat flatbreads – 6 of Ø23 cm
• butter – 2 oz / 50 g
✅ You will need:
• carving board
• deep bowl
• food film
• appetizer picks
???? Preparation:
1. In a deep bowl combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, salt, dill and zest of a lemon.
2. Lay out ¼ of the cheese mixture on a flatbread and spread evenly, follow with a layer of the thinly sliced salmon.
3. Spread a bit of butter on a second flatbread and lay it on the first one with the butter down.
4. The upper surface of the second flatbread is to be applied with ¼ of the cheese mixture, then followed with a layer of salmon and topped with the third flatbread butter side down.
5. Press the cake with a small carving board, wrap into a food film and place into the fridge for 3-4 hours. Make the rest of flatbreads all the same.
6. Take the prepared flatbreads with salmon and cream cheese out of the fridge and cut into small serving squares.
7. Pierce with appetizer picks or toothpicks, lay out the smoked salmon canapes on a plate and serve.
