How To make Smoked Salmon Chowder
Stephen Ceideburg 1/4 c Margarine
2 tb Bacon fat
1 sm Onion, diced
1/2 c Diced celery
3/4 lb Red potatoes, diced (about 1
-1/2 cups) 1 1/2 ts Minced garlic
3/4 ts Dried thyme
1 1/2 ts Dried tarragon
3/4 ts Dried dill weed
1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 1/2 ts Paprika
7 c Fish stock (see note)
6 oz Smoked salmon, diced
1 Bay leaf
1 tb Lemon juice
1 1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/8 ts Tabasco sauce
3/4 ts Pepper
2 ts Salt
1/4 c Chablis or other white wine
1 c Half-and-half
1/4 c Fresh chopped parsley
In a 4-quart pot over medium heat, melt margarine and bacon fat. Saute the onion, celery, potatoes, garlic, thyme, tarragon and dill weed until the onions are translucent. Reduce heat and add the flour and paprika, blending well. Stir in the fish stock. Add the smoked salmon, bay leaf, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, pepper, salt and wine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in half-and-half and parsley. Serve. Note: Fish stock can be made following the directions in many basic cookbooks, or it can be purchased frozen from Pastaworks or other specialty food stores, or in packets of dried soup mix in the supermarket. -3 cups water (or chicken broth)(710g)
-4 teaspoons chicken bouillon (4 cubes)
-1/2 cup milk (123g)
-3-4 potatoes, peeled and diced
-2 cups whole kernel corn (or 2 ears of corn)
-1 (8.5oz) can cream style corn (241g)
-dash of salt and pepper
-1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning (5g)
-1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (dash)
-1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley (10g)
-1-2 cups flaked smoked salmon (300g)
-1 cup whipping cream (240g)

Make this instant one pot salmon chowder and get a healthy and tasty dinner sorted in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients For Salmon Marination (15-20min rest time)
1lb Salmon
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Minced Garlic
1/4 tsp Salt
Salmon Chowder (Serving size: 5)
1/4 cup Butter
1 Medium Yellow Onion (diced)
1/4 tsp Garlic
1/4 Black Pepper
1 Carrot Medium Size (chopped)
2 Celery Ribs
2 Green Onion
1 1/2 lb Red Potatoes
1/2 cup Flour (all purpose)
2 Vegetable Stock (2 cubes, low sodium)
2 cup Corn
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Water
1 Scotch Bonnet ( very spicy!) (optional)
1/4 tsp Paprika

Ingredients:
1 fillet salmon (skin, debone and cut into cubes)
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
2 potatoes, diced
1 can corn
4 TBSP butter
¼ cup flour (for thickening)
¾ cup half and half
1 quart fish stock (vegetable stock or water) *note- add more if it does not cover the vegetables*
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Garlic powder, Old Bay, Sriracha, Worcestershire Sauce
Yields ~6 servings.
