How To make Pasta with Spicy Pea Sauce
1 cup Yellow split peas
1/2 tablespoon Olive oil
1/2 Garlic clove
1/8 teaspoon Chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
1/4 teaspoon Ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon Ground allspice
1/8 cup Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Lemon rind
250 grams Fresh fettucine
Fresh coriander sprigs
1. Place the peas in a large pan. Cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and boil, uncovered for 25 minutes. Drain. 2. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and garlic and cook over a low heat for 2 minutes. Add the spices , stirring for 2 minutes. 3. Add the well drained peas, lemon juice and rind. Stir to combine and cook over a low heat for 8-10 minutes. 4. Cook the pasta in a large quantity of boiling water until just tender. Drain and place on a large serving plate. Pour sauce over the pasta and garnish with the coriander leaves.
Serve immediately.

Pasta and Peas an old classic Italian recipe. A creamy, and cheesy pasta dish from scratch.
Recipe Steps:
First I stir-fry white onions in extra virgin olive oil and then add green peas.
A pinch of salt, a scraNCH of pepper and some hot water. Remove most of your peas, blend and Strain the cream into your pan. Keep adding more hot cooking water And take it to a boil then add your uncooked pasta.
It will slowly absorb all the sauce. Just keep adding a little water until the pasta is al dente. I can't stress enough, if its getting too thick, add more boiling cooking water.
Finally, I’m going to whisk one egg, some pecorino and parmigiano and mix it in for the last minute of cooking.

Sometimes simpler is better. This pasta gorgonzola dish requires just a few ingredients and takes only minutes to prepare. It's the perfect weeknight meal or if you want to impress friends, but you're short on time. Note that the recipe is for a single serving so double, triple or even quadruple the measurements if needed. Any decent blue cheese will do here, but DOP Gorgonzola is the best. Frozen peas do great as a substitute for the fresh.

VERSIONE IN ITALIANO:
Recipe: Ingredients to prepare sauce for 4 dishes of Bucatini
frozen peas 450 gr.
tomato paste 40 gr.
one medium onion, chopped
half a glass of extra virgin olive oil
two glasses of water
salt to taste, or add a stock cube instead of salt
240 gr. of bucatini (hollow spaghetti)
At the end, when the bucatini are served on the table,
sprinkle every single dish with 1/2 teaspoon of
Parmigiano Reggiano (Italian original parmesan).
