NACHO BAKE

Nacho Bake. My ultimate favorite. A sure
crowd-pleaser. Simply layer your toppings, bake then serve.

INGREDIENTS:
TACO BEEF
1-2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 lb. ground beef
1 pack (35 g) taco seasoning mix
1/2 tsp. black pepper

SALSA
1 cup tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup onions, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. lemon juice

CHEESE SAUCE
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 cups heavy cream/ all purpose cream
1/2 cup (4oz.) cream cheese
1/2 cup quickmelt cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar, monterey jack, colby cheese)
* optional: spring onions

Make This Easy Tex-Mex Nacho Bake Recipe at Home

Sushi bake, samgyup bake--2020 is the year of “baked” goods. If you’re looking to make an equally indulgent alternative, this recipe for nacho bake has Tex-Mex flavors with a cheesy, creamy, top.

This layered dip has fixings you’d normally expect from a 7 layer dip: taco-seasoned ground beef, black beans, for example. But to change things up, we’ve combined the cheese, jalapeno, and Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise into a thick, velvety mixture that you can easily mix then ladle on top before you bake the whole thing in the oven.

When baked, serve it alongside shredded lettuce and salsa, and serve with nacho chips, for a dip worthy of any merienda.
