How To make Frosted Peanut Butter Cake Squares
30 peanut butter cups
miniatures
1/3 cup butter or margarine :
softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs -- (4 oz each)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Remove wrappers from candies. Chop candies into pieces. Greas 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In small mixer bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar until well blendedd. Gradually add milk, eggs, and vanilla, beating until smooth and well blended. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture; beat until well blended. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Spread Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping over cake. Sprinkle candy pieces over top. Cut into squares.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping: In medium microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at HIGH an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each addition, just until chips are melted when stirred. Add powdered sugar; whisk until smooth and of spreading consistency.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of My Hungry Family. Be sure to subscribe and ring the bell. Today we’re making Peanut Butter Cake. Into a large mixing bowl add ½ cup milk, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and mix together.
Over on the stove in a small pot over medium heat add 1 cup water, 1 stick of butter and about 3/4 cup of peanut butter. Stir together until combined.
Back in our mixing bowl, we’ll give the mixture a little rev and then add in 2 cups flour, 1 ¾ cups sugar, and 1 tsp baking soda. Mix together until combined at which point pour in the peanut butter mixture from the stove. Mix all together until thoroughly combined and nice and thick.
Into an oiled baking dish pour the peanut butter cake batter. This is enough batter for two cakes. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes (not 15 minutes) at 350F. When finished baking remove from the oven and set to the side to cool.
To make the peanut butter icing, in a small mixing bowl add ½ cup of room temperature butter, 3 TBS milk, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter. Whisk together until thoroughly combined. Cut yourself the giant slice of peanut butter cake that you deserve and spread a thick layer of peanut butter icing on top. A mixture of peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar, this icing can do no wrong. Serve immediately.

This Chocolate and Peanut Butter Poke Cake is great for any Reeses lover. You'll want so many slices of this delicious cake.
Ingredients
FOR THE CAKE
225 g (8oz) unsalted butter, softened
175 g (6oz) self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
225 g (8oz) caster sugar
4 large eggs
50 g (2oz) cocoa powder
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
300 g (11oz) pack ready-made chocolate sauce
FOR THE PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING
100 g (3 ½oz) unsalted butter, softened
250 g (9oz) icing sugar
280 g Philadelphia cream cheese, at room temperature
200 g (7oz) smooth peanut butter
175 g (6oz) Reese’s mini peanut butter cups, to decorate
Directions
Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) mark 4. Grease and flour a 30.5 x 20.5cm (12 x 8in) baking tin.
Whisk all the cake ingredients, except the chocolate sauce, in a large bowl with a handheld electric whisk. Tip into the tin, spread to level and bake for 30-35min until risen and springy to the touch. Leave to cool for 10min.
While the cake’s still warm, use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes all over the cake, about halfway through. Set aside 2tbsp chocolate sauce for decorating, then pour remaining sauce all over the cake, spreading to cover and making sure it runs into the holes and fills them up. Leave to cool completely.
Make the icing by beating the butter and icing sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add cream cheese and peanut butter and beat again to combine well.
Spread over the cake and decorate with peanut butter cups and drizzle over the remaining chocolate sauce. Slice the cake in the tin into 15 squares and serve.
