Chili con carne #shorts
Ingredients
- 3x dried ancho chillies, seeds removed and diced
- 500ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp beef tallow
- 700g 80/20 beef mince
- 1 red onion, finely diced
- 6 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp ground coriander seed
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp chipotle in adobo
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 400g cooked black eyed beans
- salt to taste
- sour cream and spring onion to serve
Method
1. Toast the dried ancho chillies in a pan for 2-3 minutes before adding them to a blender with the beef stock and blending until smooth.
2. In a large pan, heat the beef tallow over medium heat.
3. Add the beef mince then season with salt and cook until browned. Then remove and set aside.
4. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened (add some more tallow if you need to).
5. Add the cumin, smoked paprika, ground coriander seed, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, tomato paste and chipotle in adobo. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add the diced tomatoes, beef, ancho chillies in beef stock, maple syrup and a pinch of salt.
7. Bring to a simmer. Turn to low and cook for 45 minutes with a lid, stirring often.
8. Add the cooked black eyed beans and cook for another 5 minutes.
9. Season with salt to taste.
10. Garnish with sour cream and spring onions.
11. Enjoy!

EASY HIGH PROTEIN CHILI

I must say chili is hands down one of my absolute favorite comfort foods! It's packed with protein, versatile and so easy to make.. you just can't beat it damn it!
FULL RECIPE ⬇️
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 lbs ground beef of choice (I used grass fed 90/10)
- 1 diced onion
- 2 diced bell peppers
- 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 15 oz can of kidney beans
- 15 oz can of pinto beans
- 2 cups @kettleandfire Beef Bone Broth (link + discount code CALWILLCOOKIT in bio)
Seasonings (adjust to your liking)
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp Cheyenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Corn Starch Slurry: 4-6 tbsp of corn starch mixed with a little water (helps thicken chili) Add more if you want it thicker, add less if you want it thinner. (Does not hinder the taste)
Toppings (optional)
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream
- Green onions
- Tortilla chips/crackers
DIRECTIONS
1. Get a large pot going on medium heat. Add in ground beef. Break it up and let it brown for a few minutes then add in the diced veggies. Mix and let veggies sauté for a few minutes.
2. Next add in the tomatoes, beans, bone broth and seasonings. Mix till we'll combined.
3. Bring to a boil then cover and lower to a simmer for about an hour.
4. Add in corn starch slurry and mix. Add till your desired thickness.
5. Fill up your bowl, add ENJOY! ????????

Chili con carne S2 - P76
Il chili con carne è un delizioso piatto che viene da oltreoceano. Dobbiamo infatti viaggiare e raggiungere l’America per conoscerne i natali. In realtà non si sa bene se sia nato in Messico o in Texas e infatti è evidente l’influenza di entrambi questi posti. Questo piatto tex-mex infatti è molto saporito e gustoso, come tutti quelli che ci sono arrivati da quelle zone del mondo.
A base di carne e peperoncino originariamente ha visto successivamente l’aggiunta dei fagioli neri, che in realtà ci stanno proprio benissimo.
Provate questa ricetta sfiziosa quando volete realizzare una cena insolita e stuzzicante, vi piacerà!
► Ingredienti per preparare :
Carne macinata di manzo 1 kg
Peperoncino dolce 300 gr
Cipolle 2
Spicchio di aglio 1
Paprika dolce 1 cucchiaio
Peperoncino in polvere piccante 1 cucchiaio
Cumino 1 cucchiaio
Peperoncino rosso piccante fresco (facoltativo) 2
Pomodoro pelato 600 gr
Brodo di carne q.b.
Zucchero 1 cucchiaio
Fagioli neri precotti 650 gr
Olio EVO q.b.
Sale q.b.
Pepe nero q.b.

Chilli con carne
V-am tot promis că revin cu rețeta mea de chilli con carne. A venit și momentul acela ????
Preparatul e simplu, tot secretul stă în condimente. De asta am și ales să folosesc condimentele de la Kotany, au o gamă foarte variată și sunt și la râșniță, ceea ce mie îmi place foarte mult pentru că au o aromă intensă, proaspătă. O să iasă bun de tot!
