Twists on Hot Chocolate
Step up your hot chocolate game with mouthwatering mix-ins! Infuse hot cocoa with chai spices, minty flavors or a kick of cayenne for decadent twists on this wintertime drink.
To make Mexican Hot Chocolate, in small saucepan, heat 1 cup whole milk, 1 cinnamon stick and 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper to a simmer over medium heat; remove from heat. Whisk in 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels until melted; remove cinnamon stick. Pour hot chocolate into a mug; top with whipped cream and dust with ground cinnamon and cayenne.
To make Chai Hot Chocolate, in small saucepan, heat 1 cup whole milk, ¼ cup chopped bittersweet chocolate, 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom and 1 pinch ground black pepper over medium heat until chocolate melts, whisking frequently. Pour hot chocolate into a mug; dust with ground cinnamon.
To make Minty Hot Chocolate, in small saucepan, heat 1 cup whole milk to a simmer over medium heat; reduce heat to low. Whisk in 2 tablespoons chocolate-hazelnut spread until melted and smooth; remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons peppermint schnapps. Pour into a mug; top with whipped cream and drizzle with melted chocolate-hazelnut spread, if desired.

- 140 ml Susu cair (milk)
- 175 Gr Mentega tawar (unsalted butter)
- 140 Gr Dark Chocolate (Couverture, lebih enak juga)
- 4 Telur utuh (whole eggs)
- 160 Gr Gula pasir (sugar)
- 155 Gr Tepung proteing sedang / serba guna (All-purpose flour)
- 20 Gr Bubuk kokoa (Cocoa powder
- 3Gr / 3/4 Sdt Baking powder
- 3 Gr / 3/5 Sdt Baking soda
- 1/4 Sdt Garam (1/4 tsp salt)
- 1/2 Sdt Vanilla extract
CHOCOLATE GANACHE (FROSTING):
- 325 ml Cream (whipping cream liquid, google yak banyak)
- 325 Gr Dark chocolate (Bisa pakai compoung/couverture atau di mix)
- 30 Gr Mentega tawar (unsalted butter)

These no-bake peanut butter balls have just five ingredients. They make the perfect pick-me-up snack and pack a sweet punch that will “cure” any sweet tooth. You can make these one-bite treats ahead of time and simply store them in the fridge until they’re ready to serve. We tested these with a variety of peanut butters and found that if you’re using a no added salt peanut butter, you might want to slightly up the salt in the recipe.

1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoons baking soda, 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, 2 1/4 cups oatmeal, 1 cup chopped dried cherries, 1 cup chopped almonds or pecans, 3/4 cup mini semi-sweet or bittersweet morsels. (Chop morsels if not mini's) 3/4 cup unsalted butter room temperature, 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 7 oz marshmallow creme. ( I have a recipe to make marshmallow creme on my channel..) Melt 3/4 cup milk chocolate bars or chocolate chips pour over cooled cookies. Makes 10 Place on sprayed pan, use ice cream scoop and press down with hand, the cookies should be a 1/2 inch. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes check if still not baked use 7 - 8 minutes depending on oven. Don't over bake.
