How To make Apple Cake European
2 c Flour
1 c Powdered sugar
3/4 c Margarine
1 Egg
2 1/2 tb Rum
1 pn Salt
Apple topping: 12 Tart red apples
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c Chopped nuts
1/2 c Sugar mixed with; 1 tb cinna
For the dough, mix flour, sugar and the salt. Add margarine and the egg and rum. If dough is not moist enough,add more rum. Knead well and press onto a large cookie sheet, covering entire sheet and making an edge around the sides. Peel, core and grate apples. Mix with raisins and nuts; spread over dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake in 425' over for 30 minutes. Freezes well.

There are definitely times when I’ve encountered recipes that require tons of steps and techniques that beginner bakers might not be familiar with. This Easy Moist Apple Cake is the complete opposite. Not only is it easy to put together, it is so forgiving that there is really little chance for failure. The end product is a wonderfully moist buttery cake with generous mouthful of chunky apples.
Ingredients:
2 large apples – peeled, cored and slice into 2-inch size
125g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
113g unsalted butter – soften at room temperature
130g caster sugar
2 large eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp dark rum (omit if not available)
1 tbsp granulated sugar for sprinkling

*** The recipe: (baking pan size: 20cm / 8 inches)
2 / eggs
65g / granulated sugar (4+1/2 tablespoons)
8g / vanilla sugar ( 1/2 tablespoon)
A pinch of salt
Mix well
100ml / milk (1/2cup - 1 tablespoons )
40ml / vegetable oil ( 3 tablespoons)
80g / all-purpose flour (1/2 cup)
10g / baking powder ( 1,5 tablespoons)
Mix well
1 teaspoon / orange zest
3-4 / sweet apples
Pour into the batter and mix well!
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C / (356 ° F) for 50-55 minutes!
