Easy Raisin Scones Recipe (Beginners Friendly)
How to make raisin scones step by step. Raisins scones are traditional pastries that are simple and easy to make at home, often slightly sweetened and often glazed with egg wash. Raisins scones are english afternoon tradition in which they are served with tea, clotted cream, and jam. You can also serve them for breakfast or as a snack.
You can either All Purpose Flour or Oatmeal flour. Raisins Scones can be topped with butter, jam bacon, cheese and cream or even fruits like Strawberries etc.

Scones in less than 30 minutes || Best Raisin Scones Raisin Tea Biscuits ever | |

Ingredients:
2 Cup AP flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp salt
100g cold butter (place in freezer for 30 minutes before using)
250 ml 35% cream or 2% or full fat milk (cream or milk should be cold)
1/3 cup raisin (dried cranberry or nuts also can be used)
1-2 tbsp. melted butter
Method:
1. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt well
2. Grate cold butter into dry mixture
3. Rub butter into flour (mixture should look like coarse cornmeal)
4. Add cream to the flour mix
5. Mix in by hand
6. Add raisins to the dough, fold 5-7 times to incorporate the raisins
7. Press dough into a disc or rectangle shape
8. Cut into half, cut each half into 2-3 triangles
9. Place them on a parchment lined baking tray
10. Brush with melted butter
11. Bake in a preheated oven (400°F/204°C) for 20 minutes, tops should be golden brown
12. Let them cool completely before serve.

Unbelievably Delicious Coconut And Raisin Scones You Need To Try!
Best scones in town.
Flavor: coconut and raisin
Yield: 16 Scones
Ingredients
3 cups plain flour
1/2 level tsp salt
100 g butter
1/2 cup fresh milk
3tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 powdered milk (optional)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 large eggs
1/4 cup raisin
2 Tbspn coconut flakes
Procedures
1. Preheat oven to 180°C degrees. Grease 2 baking trays; set aside.
2. In a large bowl, sieve together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and powdered milk. Add butter. Using your fingers, work butter into flour mixture until a crumbly mixture is formed (like breadcrumbs).
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, white sugar, vanilla essences, and milk. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir to combine.
4. Divide the dough into two. one portion add half cup raisin and another half leave it plain
5.Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface; knead lightly and shape into a round. Roll dough out until it is 2,5cm thick. Using a 7,5cm biscuit cutter/ small glass, cut out scones and transfer to prepared baking trays.
6. In a small bowl, beat remaining egg and brush the top of each scone. And sprinkle coconut flakes on the plain scones
7 Transfer baking trays to oven and bake until golden brown and cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer scones to a wire rack and let cool slightly before serving
