I’ve got the zesty burger sauce to raise your grilling game
Double Smashburger w/ Zesty Pepper Sauce ????
.
This sauce truly raised my burger game up a notch.
Here’s how I did it:
For the sauce
1/2 C mayo
2 tsp horseradish
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Splash of distilled white vinegar
Pinch of lemon juice
1/4 tsp sugar
2 tsp ketchup
Drop of soy sauce
1 tsp @thespicehouse porcini garlic herb pepper rub
-mix these ingredients together until combined
For the Smash burgers:
1. Cut ground beef into equal sized pieces of ground beef (I try to keep the patties to ¼ to 1/3 lbs). Knead the meat into equal-sized meatballs and season with the same porcini garlic herb pepper rub listed above.
2. place the meatballs on the griddle and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes. Using a spatula, press down on the meatballs to flatten. Repeat this process with the remaining meatballs. Allow them to cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip the burgers, top with cheese, and continue cooking for about 5 minutes
To Finish:
1. Place a hamburger bun on a plate and slather with the prepared sauce. Next, top with a doubles tack and toppings of choice. Enjoy!
