Eat Like A Local With Andy Roy in San Francisco
Everyone has seen those food shows where celebrity mega-chefs tell you they're going to show you where all the locals eat in a city they've never been to before. But if you ever actually talk to locals from that city, you'll quickly learn that they're rarely uncovering the city's best.
So pro skateboarder Andy Roy is back, here to teach you how to eat like a true local in San Francisco (last time, he taught us how to cook in prison). First stop is Tommy's Joynt for some brisket, baked beans, and caprese salad. Next we head to Potrero Park in the Mission for a real cookout with the homies. Then we cap the day off down the street at Bender's with some White Russians and tater tots. Welcome to Andy Roy's San Francisco.

Follow My Recipe™ is a new, original miniseries created by the CinematicTV team where we film rap artists making their favorite homemade meal, so you can make it too! On this episode watch Styles P and Adjua Styles walk us through how to make a Mushroom BLT, Cashews with Onions & Peppers, and Deconstructed Peach Cobbler.
Ingredients:
Mushroom BLT
Butter substitute, olive oil, garlic salt, black pepper, mushrooms. Lettuce, tomato, sandwich bread.
Cashews with Onions and Peppers
Butter substitute, olive oil, onions and peppers, cashews, garlic salt, black pepper, scallions.
Deconstructed Peach Cobbler
Brown sugar, cinnamon, pie crust, peaches
Steps:
Mushroom BLT
Cut mushrooms. Add tablespoon of butter substitute (smart balance). Melt butter in microwave. Add mushrooms. Add olive oil. Add garlic salt, black pepper, and shake close to the bowl. Spread on pan. Over on broil at 450. Put inside oven and check in about 10 min. Slice bread, add lettuce and tomato. Add mushrooms once cooked.
Cashews with Onions and Peppers
Add tablespoon of butter substitute (smart balance) to pan on stove. Add olive oil to pan. Add finely sliced onions and peppers. Add cashews evenly on top. Add garlic salt. Add black pepper. Once you get a light brown color, move to plate and then add scallions on top.
Deconstructed Peach Cobbler
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut pie crust into strips. Roll pie crust with mixture inside. Heat peaches on pan. Add residual brown sugar and cinnamon to the peaches. Deep fry rolled pie crust mixture for 2-3 min. Cook until brown.

Anabolic REUBEN + HOMEMADE Russian Dressing under 500 calories and in LESS than 15 minutes
The Reuben Sandwich with a heaping serving of Russian Dressing is a classic during St. Patricks Day. In 2021, I wanted to come to the Anabolic Kitchen and show a lower calorie version that can be whipped up in less than 15 minutes that is absolutely delicious. From the Corned Beef, to the Pastrami, to the Sauerkraut, to the Russian Dressing and Rye Bread; EVERYTHING is delicious.
