How To make Watergate Cake
1 pk White Cake Mix
3/4 c Vegetable Oil
3 lg Eggs
1 c 7-Up Or Club Soda
3 oz Pistachio Instant Pudding
(1 Package) 1 c Chopped Nuts (Pecans Are
The Best) 1/2 c Coconut
-------------------------------COVER-UP ICING------------------------------- 6 oz Whipped Topping Mix (Dry)
(2 Envelopes) 1 1/2 c Milk
3 oz Pistachio Instant Pudding
(1 Package) 1/2 c Coconut
3/4 c Chopped Nuts (Use Pecans
If That Is What You Used In The Cake. Match The Nuts) This cake recipe came out when Nixon was caught in the Watergate Scandal in 1976
Combine the ingredients in the order given, blending well after each addition. Pour into a 13 X 9-inch pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the cake tests done. ICING: Combine the topping mix, milk and pudding. Beat until thick. Spread on the cake, (The icing will be a light green color). Sprinkle with the coconut and chopped nuts. From The Food Fare Section Rocky Mountain News September 3, 1986
How To make Watergate Cake's Videos
Watergate cake
Cake:
1 box white cake mix
1 box pistachio instant pudding
1 cup oil
1 cup 7 UP (must be 7 UP)
3 eggs or egg whites
1 cup chopped pecans
Frosting:
2 envelopes Dream Whip (I think you could use Cool Whip, just adjust milk)
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 pkg. Pistachio instant pudding.
Mix cake mix and pudding together, add oil mix, then oil mix, 7 UP mix, add eggs mix, add pecans mix. Pour into greased pans.
Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 mins.
Icing: Beat first three ingredients together.
Spread on cake.

DELICIOUS PISTACHIO PUDDING CAKE
This Pistachio Cake is a favorite of mine . It’s easy to make and it’s so moist . Make this and let me know how you liked it .
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 (3.4 oz ) box instant pistachio pudding mix
3 large eggs
1 cup oil
1 cup 7 Up or Sprite
Drops of food coloring *3 -5 is good
Topping/ frosting :
1 (3.4 oz ) box instant pistachio pudding mix
1/2 cup cold milk * I used whole milk
1 8oz container whipped topping
5-6 drops green food coloring
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 mins or until toothpick comes out clean
Use a 9x13 baking dish or a bundt cake pan
Refrigerate leftovers

How To Make Pistachio Cake
Ingredients For Cake
1 white cake mix
1 3.4 oz box of instant pistachio pudding
1 20 oz can of drained pineapple tidbits (reserve liquid)
1 cup of chopped pecans
1/2 cup of oil
3 eggs
Frosting
1 large tub of Coolwhip
1 3.4 oz box of pistachio pudding
Mix Coolwhip and pudding together making sure there are no lumps.
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl add cake mix and pudding. Stir, blending ingredients together. Add pineapple and nuts and stir, coating in the cake mix.
2. Add oil, eggs and 1 1/2 cups of reserved pineapple juice adding milk to get the full 1 1/2 cups of liquid.Mix just until blended.
3. Pour batter into prepared cake pans. Bake according to the directions on the box.
4. Allow cake to cool completely before adding your frosting. Garnish with pecans if desired. Chill completely before serving.
