How To Make CHOCOLATE RUM BALLS | EASY NO BAKE RECIPE
My easy, no-bake chocolate rum balls recipe was passed down to me from my Austrian aunt who made the most amazing desserts. Her heritage is home to probably the best desserts you will ever taste and I’m happy to bring this recipe to your home.
These are wonderful rum-infused balls rolled in lovely cocoa that you’re just going to love! While they’re popular during the festive season, they’re so delicious that you can enjoy them all year round! Why not?
Part of the secret is using Maria biscuits that form a soft and delicate crumble that perfectly soaks up the ingredients along with slightly crushed walnuts for texture. Use as much or as little of your favorite rum. I used Jamaican white rum but feel free to use your favorite brand.
I must warn you, they’re so delicious that it’s impossible to have just one! Enjoy, from my family to yours!

Ingredients
450g/16oz of Maria biscuits
100g/1/4 cup of butter
1 can of condensed milk (300ml)
1 heaping cup of walnuts
1oz of white rum (or rum of your choice)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of cocoa powder
Instructions:
Crush Maria biscuits (or your favorite brand) in a blender until grain texture.
Chop walnuts in a blender into small pieces.
Melt butter and mix with crushed biscuits and walnuts using a large spoon.
Add condensed milk and vanilla extract to your butter, biscuits and walnuts mixture.
Add 1oz (1 shot) of rum or as desired and mix to distribute rum flavor. Taste to ensure there’s just enough rum.
Take a spoonful of mixture, roll in your hand and form a ball (smaller than a golf ball).
Roll the balls into cocoa powder and place on a tray. Once all balls have been formed, place your tray in the fridge for 2 hours (or overnight for best results).
Once the rum balls have been removed, roll in cocoa powder again or powdered sugar as desired. Serve and enjoy!

OklaRoots Family Rum Ball Recipe
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup (+extra for rolling) granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup rum (more or less depending on taste)
Make sure to finely chop the graham crackers and walnuts. Mix the graham crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, salt and walnuts together. Mix the honey and rum in a small bowl well. Poor the honey/rum mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. This step works best by using your hands.
Roll balls into golf ball size. Since these are not baked, you can make them any size you want. Roll the balls in granulated sugar. Place finished rum balls in a tin or box lined with waxed paper.
We like to keep our rum balls in the freezer. They taste great straight out of the freezer, or sit out for about 20 minutes first.

No Bake Rum Balls Recipe
Rum balls are a traditional Christmas dessert. Boozy and rich, keep these beauties in the fridge for several days for even more taste!

Ingredients
• 250gGraham crackers
• 50g Powdered Sugar
• 20g Cocoa Powder
• 130g Roasted Pecans
• 5ml Vanilla Extract
• 50g Corn Syrup
• 80g Rum
instructions
Step 1 Preparation
1. Place the pecans on a baking sheet
2. Bake at 325 °F for 25 minutes (Optional)
3. When they are cooled, chop them into pieces
4. In a plastic bag, place the graham crackers
5. Use a rolling pin to crush them
6. Weigh the rest of the ingredients (Powdered Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Vanilla Extract, Corn Syrup, and Rum ). It will be easier to do the recipe.
Step 2 Making the balls
1. In a bowl, place the crushed crackers, the powdered sugar, the cocoa powder, the pecan pieces, the vanilla extract, the corn syrup, and the rum ( Add everything you prepared)
2. Mix until everything appears to be well combined.
3. Form two tablespoons of batter into balls
Step 3 The Toppings
1. Roll them in the topping of your choice ( powdered sugar, cocoa powder, candies, coconut )
2. Enjoy them
3. keep the rum balls in the fridge for several days for even more flavors!

Recipe notes-
1) use any left over cake crumbs. I used a chocolate cake. Store bought cake can also be crumbled and used
2) use any dry fruits you like or even dried cranberries or raisins
3) if you want to skip rum, you could add orange juice instead and make it into chocolate #cakepops
4) sift your powdered sugar before adding it in to avoid any lumps

Rum balls are the perfect indulgence for the festive season. This is a sweet and chewy non baked dessert recipe. Chef Ruchi Bharani teaches how to make simple and easy to make quick homemade Christmas recipe.
Ingredients:
200 gms Dark Chocolate Sponge
2 & 1/2 tbsp Condensed Milk
50 gms Melted Dark Chocolate
2 tbsp Dark Rum
2 tbsp chopped Walnuts
1/2 tbsp Butter
Icing Sugar
150 gms Dark Chocolate
Method:
- Grind chocolate sponge in a grinder and get that out in a bowl
- Add condensed milk, melted dark chocolate, dark rum, walnuts, butter and mix everything well together
- Dust icing sugar in hands and make 1' inch balls and refrigerate it for about 10 mins
- Coat the rum balls in melted dark chocolate using a fork and coat it well
- Drip the excess chocolate and sprinkle some colored sprinkles on it.
- Refrigerate it for another 5 -6 mins and its ready to be served or preserved in air tight containers!
