How To make Walnut Chocolate Rum Balls
1 c Walnuts, ground or
- finely chopped 2 c Grated "German's sweet" or
- bittersweet chocolate 1 1/2 c Sifted confectioner's sugar
4 tb Rum
Cocoa powder Combine nuts, sugar, and chocolate. Moisten with rum to form a stiff dough. Form into small balls and roll in cocoa to coat. This recipe is not only simple, it's flexible. It can be made with other kinds of liquor (amaretto, sherry, and Southern Comfort work well), nuts (almonds or pecans, for instance) and coatings (ground nuts, finely grated coconut, etc.) and always comes out tasting great. Adding small chunks of nut for texture is also effective.

INDIAN CHRISTMAS DESSERT IDEAS 2023 | CHOCOLATE RUM BALLS RECIPE | INDIAN CHRISTMAS RECIPES
Ingredients
270 grams of vanilla wafers
400 grams of condensed milk
60 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder
60 grams of desiccated coconut
1/4th cup of rum
1 tsp of vanilla essence
Bowl of rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles
Take 270 grams of vanilla wafers in a ziplock bag and crush them. Then keep the ziplock bag aside and take a bowl. After that add crushed vanilla wafers and add 400 grams of condensed milk along with 60 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder, 60 grams of desiccated coconut and 1/4th cup of rum and 1 tsp of vanilla essence. Mix it with your hand and divide into small portions and place it on the parchment papers. Place it in the refrigerator for an hour. Take some chocolate sprinkles and rainbow sprinkles and coat the rum balls with it. Top it up with some chocolate sauce.

Craft shop supplies makes these look like they are from a commercial chocolate factory, but they are even better because they are fresher, and home made! This party food favorite is a hit with the adults. Cayenne Pepper and Sea Salt are fun toppings, as well as crushed candy canes or colored sugars. White chocolate chips make a nice decor as well. Making Christmas Cookies - Rum Balls - With My Mom and Nana! Let's Chat and Laugh!

OklaRoots Family Rum Ball Recipe
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup (+extra for rolling) granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup rum (more or less depending on taste)
Make sure to finely chop the graham crackers and walnuts. Mix the graham crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, salt and walnuts together. Mix the honey and rum in a small bowl well. Poor the honey/rum mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. This step works best by using your hands.
Roll balls into golf ball size. Since these are not baked, you can make them any size you want. Roll the balls in granulated sugar. Place finished rum balls in a tin or box lined with waxed paper.
We like to keep our rum balls in the freezer. They taste great straight out of the freezer, or sit out for about 20 minutes first.
