How To make Tangy Spare Ribs
5 lb Pork spare ribs
1 md Onion, finely chopped
1/2 c Finely chopped celery
2 tb Butter or margarine
1 c Ketchup
1 c Water
1/4 c Lemon juice
2 tb Vinegar
2 tb Brown sugar
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/8 ts Peper
1/8 ts Chili powder
Cut ribs into serving sized pieces; place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter for 4-5 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cook and stir until slightly thickened, about 10-minutes. Remove from the heat.
Drain fat from the roasting pan. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake 1 1/2 hours longer or until meat is tender.

2lbs small ribs (pork or lamb)
2T light brown sugar
2T honey
3Tbalsamic vinegar
3T soysauce
3T Worcestershire sauce
1 t ground ginger
1 t garlic paste
1 T red pepper flakes
1 t ground coriander
1 T dijon mustard
2 spring onions sliced
1 chili pepper sliced
1T sesame seeds
boil water in med size pot
add ribs. Cook 45-50 min.
meanwhile add brown sugar and honey to saucepan over med heat. Stir till melted and mixed. Add in garlic oaste,coriander, red pepper flakes. Add soysauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar.
** I added 1 T dijon mustard **
Once mixture starts to simmer take off heat and let cool down.
Take ribs out of boiling water when done, place in parchment paper covered sheet pan place into preheated 200 degree oven. for 10 min. Take out, baste ribs with mixture , place back into oven 10 min -15 min until crispy.
remove from oven sprinkle ribs with sesame seeds, spring onions and red Chile pepper. Serve over rice.

Spicy, Tangy Grilled Ribs (plus a Grilled Zucchini Salad) | Home Movies with Alison Roman
It’s time to grill and it’s time to chill. Today we are doing both (yes, it’s possible!) by making Tangy, Spicy Grilled Ribs. They’re spiced and smoky, tender and fall apart-y, delightfully charred (on purpose!), and, best of all, they are the ultimate do-ahead for maximum chilling (before the grilling). We’re also making a Grilled Zucchini Salad with Garlic and Dill. In the unlikely event you’re out of zucchini, the dressing works well on any grilled vegetable, but broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage would be the best bets. And last but certainly not least, there will of course be...hot dogs. What’s grilling and chilling without 100% all beef franks?
