2 c Lima beans 2 c Corn 3 tb Margarine 1/2 c Cream or skim milk 1 t Sugar 1 t Savory 1/2 t Pepper cook lima beans 15 - 18 min. drain and cool, add 2 c corn, canned kernel or shaved off an ear of corn. add rest of ingredients and simmer on low heat 5 - 10 min, put in bowl and serve.

INGREDIENTS:
-1 cup butter, divided
●2 cups fresh lima beans
●1/2 teaspoon salt
●4 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
●2 teaspoons white sugar
●4 ears fresh corn kernels, cut from the cob

Succotash 4 slices Bacon 1/2 cup Vidalia Onion, chopped or Yellow or White Onion 1 teaspoon chopped Garlic (1) 12 ounce package frozen Lima Beans Salt and Pepper to taste 1/2 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning (1) 12 ounce package frozen Corn 10 ounce container Grape Tomatoes, chopped 1/4 to 1/2 cup Chicken Broth or water 2 tablespoons Butter Chop bacon and cook until crispy. Take up bacon on a plate and leave the bacon grease. Add the onions and garlic and cook until softened about 2 minutes. Then add the lima beans and chicken broth. Cover and let cook about 15 minutes or until the beans are tender. Add the corn and cook a few more minutes. Season with salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning. Add the tomatoes and let heat thru. Stir in the butter until melted, add the bacon and serve. Frozen okra can also be a nice addition to this already delicious recipe.
