How To make Stir Fried Shredded Beef with Fish Flavored S
8 oz Beef
4 ea Water Chestnuts
3 c Oil
1 tb Spring Onions, minced
1 tb Ginger, minced
1 tb Garlic, minced
1 tb Chili Nam Yuey
1 tb Soy Sauce
1 x Cornstarch
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Sugar
1/2 ts Soy Sauce
1 tb Dark Vinegar
1 x Pepper Powder
1 tb Cornstarch Paste
1 ts Sesame Oil
Rinse beef, shred it thinly. Marinate with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes. Rinse water chestnuts. Peel and dice. Mix well with the salt, sugar, soy sauce, dark vinegar, pepper powder, and sesame oil. Heat oil in a wok till hot. Quickly stir-fry the beef shreds till the beef turns white. Remove and drain. Save some of the oil in the wok. Stir fry spring onions, ginger and garlic for a few seconds. Add the diced water chestnuts and Chili Nam Yuey. Stir fry for a few seconds. Add the shredded beef. Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
300g Beef Fillet
2 Spring Onions
2 Cloves Garlic
1cm Ginger
20 Coriander Stems
1 Tsp Coarse Black Pepper
1 Red Chilli Pepper
4 Tbsp Cornflour
1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
2 Tbsp Clear Honey
Salt to your taste
Methods:
1. Finely slice the ginger, garlic, spring onions and chilli.
2. Cut the coriander stems into 1 inch in length.
3. Slice the beef into thin threads, place into a mixing bowl and toss with cornflour
4. Heat 1 litre of oil in the wok until smoking hot
5. Deep fry the beef for 8 - 10 minutes until crispy, remove and drain.
6. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in the wok
7. Add ginger, garlic, chilli and black pepper, fry for few seconds.
8. Add beef, salt and honey, fry for few seconds.
9. Add sesame seeds, spring onion, coriander and toss all together.
10. Transfer to a dish and enjoy.

Ingredients:
500g Beef cut into strips
1.5 Tablespoon Butter
1 Chopped Green Bell Pepper
2- Chopped Red Bell Pepper
1 Chopped Orange/Yellow Bell Pepper
2 Chopped Carrots
1 Chopped Onion
2 Tablespoons Chopped Ginger and Garlic
1 Cup Chicken or Beef Stock
4 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
1 Tablespoon Chicken Seasoning
2 tablespoons Crushed Chilli Flakes
1 Tablespoon Cornflour
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
Salt to taste
For the Beef Marinade
1 Tablespoons Chicken/ Beef Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Cornflour
1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
