INCREDIBLE Masala Fried Rice Recipe
LEARN HOW TO MAKE AN AMAZING VEGAN MASALA FRIED RICE RECIPE!
LAY HO MA!! Alright, you have got to try this fried rice recipe. It is incredibly packed with flavour and of course, easy to make. Join me in this episode and learn how to cook an amazing masala fried rice recipe. Let's begin.
Servings - 1
Ingredients:
1/2 red onion
2 roma tomatoes
3 long green chilies
3 tbsp olive oil
2 pinches of salt
1/4 cup curry leaves
1/2 tsp chili powder (cayenne)
1 tbsp sweet paprika
2 tsp garam masala
1 1/2 cups leftover basmati rice
few sprigs cilantro
couple lime wedges
Directions:
1. Dice the red onion and tomatoes. Chop the chilies
2. Bring a non stick pan to medium heat. Add the olive oil
3. Sauté the onions and chilies for about a minute
4. Add in the tomatoes followed by a couple pinches of salt. Sauté for a few minutes
5. Add in the curry leaves and sauté for 4-5min
6. Add in the chili powder, paprika, and garam masala (add a couple splashes of water if it looks too dry)
7. Add in the rice and sauté for another couple of minutes
8. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with a couple wedges of lime

How to make Nandos style Spicy Rice at home ????
Here's an easy way to make homemade Nandis style Spicy Rice at home.
Peri Peri Rice
400g basmati rice washed and soaked
3 tablespoon oil
4 garlic cloves minced
1 onion
1 cup yellow and green pepper
1/2 tin chopped tomato 200g
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
1/2 tablespoon salt or to taste
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
Heat oil on pan. Add onions.
Saute for two minutes and add garlic.
Fry that for two minutes and add salt.
After one minute add your spices; cayenne, turmeric, smoked paprika and red chilli flakes.
Cook for 90 seconds then add your peppers after.
After one minute add the chopped tomatoes
Pour the lemon juice in and pinch of black pepper after a minute.
When the sauce starts to simmer, after around two minutes, add the uncooked rice. Make sure rice is washed and soaked.
Mix the rice in properly and cook for three minutes before adding boiling water.
Water should be an inch above the surface of the rice.
Cover with lid and put on high heat for five minutes. Then stir the rice gently bringing the bottom rice to top.
Cover with lid again for 8 to 10 minutes on low heat.
Rice should be done now, let it stand for five minutes before serving.

►INGREDIENTS
►For the Peri Peri Chicken and Peri Peri Marinade
►Dry Brining/Salting
1.5 kg whole chicken
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
►Peri Peri Marinade
1 small onion
7 garlic cloves
1 lemon
7 peri peri chilies
2 mexican serrano chilies
1 tbsp tomato paste
1.5 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp oregano
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vinegar
5 tbsp water
7 tbsp oil
►For the Spicy Rice
1 onion
5 garlic cloves
1 tomato
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
3 whole chilies
7 tbsp oil
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
2.5 cups water
2 cups basmati rice (Soak in water 30 min)
Fresh lemon juice
►For the Olives
1 cup olives
15g coriander
10g chives
1 tbsp
1 tbsp honey
Serve with some of the coleslaw as well

LAY HO MA! There's not much more comforting than a bowl of warm, delicious, fluffy rice. This recipe is incredibly flavourful and simple to make. Join me in this episode and learn how to cook a delightful bowl of garlic turmeric rice. Let's begin
Ingredients:
6-7 pieces of garlic
1/2 onion
80g broccolini
1/4 red bell pepper
3 tbsp avocado oil
pinch crushed pepper flakes
1/4 cup corn
1 1/2 cups basmati rice (cooked)
1 tsp turmeric
pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Finely chop the garlic, onion, broccolini, and red bell pepper
2. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium low heat. Add 2 tbsp of avocado oil
3. Cook the garlic and onions for 6-7min. Add the crushed pepper flakes
4. Set the garlic and onions aside. Heat the pan to medium heat and add 1 tbsp of avocado oil
5. Sauté the broccolini and red bell pepper for a couple of minutes. Add the corn, basmati rice, turmeric, salt, and the cooked garlic and onions. Sauté for 2-3min
6. Plate and sprinkle with some more crushed pepper flakes
