Gotta catch em all: spicy tuna mayo rice balls
#shorts #koreanfood #riceballs
These rice balls remind me of good old Pokémon times ???? The spicy chicken sauce is pretty spicy, but after adding the rice and the rest of the ingredients, it became more tangy than spicy ???? I'd say 4 out of 10 spicy levels! Here comes the recipe:
2 tbsp Samyang spicy chicken sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
400 g rice
1/2 tuna can or 1 small tuna can
90 g sweet corn
Mayonnaise
Sesame seeds
1) Cook 400g rice. Make sure to use short grain rice as they are more glutinous and stickier than long-grain rice. Once ready, transfer the cooked rice into a bowl and let it cool down.
2) Add 2 tbsp of the spicy chicken sauce, and 1 tbsp sesame oil. If you love spicy food, feel free to add more of the spicy chicken sauce, but be careful ????
3) Crush salted seaweed sheets in a separate container and mix well with sesame seeds.
4) In a separate bowl, mix tuna, mayo (as much as you like), and sweet corn.
5) Take a scoop of rice and flatten it first in your palm, next add the filling from 3), and gently fold the rice around the tuna and gently squeeze it into a ball.
6) Gently cover each rice ball with crushed seaweed sheets. Make sure to keep the rice balls in bite-sized pieces ???? Enjoy!
