Sourdough Cornbread Recipe
Cornbread is something that I associate with home. I remember making it as a kid from the Jiffy mix boxes. Making this recipe takes a little bit more effort, not much mind you, but the results are absolutely worth it.
Mix together everything except the baking soda. Butter the baking dish that you want to use (good sizes are 8x8 inch square or a 10 inch round). Mix the baking soda in quickly and immediately pour the batter into the baking dish.
Cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and slightly pulling away from the edges.

One of my favorite things to eat is cornbread. Since I try to only eat sourdough breads It made me sad to think of not eating cornbread. Then...I realized I could still eat it and enjoy it! What a blessing!
