Mexican pork carnitas are given a smokey makeover in this delicious and easy recipe for Smoked Carnitas. These make for one killer taco!

✅Ingredients
• 1 (3-5 lb) Pork Butt/Shoulder Roast
• 1 tablespoon ground cumin
• 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat an outdoor electric smoker to 225 degrees F.
2️⃣ 00:00:18 - Cut pork into 1 inch-thick strips and place into a disposable aluminum foil pan.
3️⃣ 00:00:54 - Sprinkle on cumin, chili powder, salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and cloves. Drizzle on the vegetable oil. Toss until pork strips are well coated. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
4️⃣ 00:02:19 - Smoke at 225 degrees for 4 hours. For the last hour, remove the aluminum foil and return to the smoker and cook approximately 1 more hour or until pork is tender and easily shreds.

-Minced Garlic.
-4 Oranges squeezed or a cup of orange juice.
-2 large jalapenos.
-3 cups chicken stock.
Seasoning rub mix:
-4 parts sea salt.
-2 parts cracked black pepper.
-2 parts garlic powder.
-1 part cumin.
-1 part smoked paprika

Ingredients you'll need:
4 pounds boneless pork boston butt, cut into 2 inch chunks
4 cloves garlic, sliced
3 bay leaves
2 cinnamon sticks
juice of 2-3 limes
water to cover pork (1.5-2 cups)
Spice mix -
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt
