How To make Sausage Gravy
1 lb Pork sausage, bulk, sage
2 tb Onion, finely chopped
6 tb Flour
1 qt Milk
1/2 ts Poultry seasoning
1/2 ts Nutmeg, ground
1/4 ts Salt
Worcestershire, dash Hot pepper sauce, dash Angel Biscuits* Crumble sausage into a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat. Add onion; cook and stir until transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until the mixture bubbles and turns golden. Stir in milk. Add seasonings; cook, stirring, until thickened. To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves. 4-6 servings. *Recently uploaded recipe

Ingredients
1 lb pork breakfast sausage I recommend using sage flavored (455g)
1/4 cup all-purpose (plain) flour (31g)
2 1/2 cups whole milk (590ml)
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper optional
salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
00:00 Introduction
00:20 Place sausage in a skillet over medium/high heat.
00:38 Use a spatula to break up and crumble sausage as it cooks, cooking until completely browned and no pink remains. Do not drain your skillet.
00:53 Sprinkle flour evenly over the sausage crumbles. Stir frequently until flour is absorbed (about 1 minute).
01:13 Slowly pour the milk into your skillet, stirring as you pour. Add crushed red pepper, if using.
01:37 Continue to cook, stirring frequently until mixture is thickened and desired consistency is reached.
01:57 Add salt and pepper to taste and serve warm over homemade biscuits!
Notes

Homemade Sausage Gravy
An easy 3 ingredient southern style sausage gravy. Have it over biscuits or make yourself a haystack! Can also be served over toast or chicken fried steak!

What you'll need:
1 lb breakfast sausage (any brand will do)
1/2 cup flour
4 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
Brown sausage in a heavy bottom pan until done. Do not drain! Add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to cook the flour taste out. Add milk and heat over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!

BISCUITS
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1.5 Tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 to 1 Cup Buttermilk ( Milk can be used too)
- 1 Stick Butter, Frozen (Grated or Cubed)
GRAVY
- 1 Lb Breakfast Sausage (Pork or Turkey)

It's my personal opinion but after sharing my sausage gravy and biscuits with several people I know, they all agreed, these are outstanding!
One person in fact said they never eat sausage gravy with biscuits because they never liked them, but they loved mine.
So I hope you will agree, this recipe is the best!
Ingredients
• 1/2 package Jimmy Dean Sage Pork Sausage
• 3 Tbsp. Olive oil
• 3 tablespoons flour
• ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 2 split warm biscuits for serving
• Pinch of salt to taste
Instructions
1. Cook sausage in large skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH heat until browned.
2. Add flour and oil to skillet; stir with wire whisk until well browned stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk; cook and stir 3-5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Adjust thickness after you see bubbling by adding more milk if necessary.
3. Add sausage and cook until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently. Serve over biscuits.
4. Add salt to taste.
