Recipe For Russian Tea (Liquid Version) Ingredients: 13 C Water Divided 2 C Pineapple Juice 4 C Orange Juice 1 -1 Gallon Black Tea Bag 2 C Sugar 2 Sticks Cinnamon - 1 ish Tbs of Whole Cloves - Large Tea Ball - 1 Large Pot 1 Small Pot
Directions: In your large pot bring 8 Cups of water to a boil, add your 1 gallon tea bag. Turn the heat off and let the tea steep for 20 minutes.
In your small pot bring 5 cups of water to a boil. Add your 2 C of sugar. Turn your heat down to a simmer. Add your spices to the tea ball. Simmer the spices in the sugar water while the tea is steeping.
When your tea is done steeping, remove the tea bag. Add your pineapple juice, orange juice, and sugar/spice water, making sure that you leave the tea ball in the mixture. Bring this barely to a boil and immediately reduce heat to a low simmer. Simmer for 45 minutes. Voila! You have delicious Russian Tea! You can store this in the refrigerator or keep it in a crock pot on the counter for parties!
