How To make Rolled Oat Burgers
2 c Water
2 c Old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tb Low-sodium tamari or soy
1 tb Olive oil
2 ts Olive oil
1 c Diced onion
1/2 c Grated carrots
1/2 c Diced celery
1/2 c Diced red bell peppers
2 cl Garlic, minced
2 ts Dried oregano
6 Leaves fresh basil, minced
1/2 ts Fresh ground black pepper
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add oats, tamari or soy sauce and 1 tb oil. Reduce heat to low and cook 2 minutes; remove from heat and set aside. In skillet, heat the remaining oil over medium heat. Add rest of ingredients and saute 2 minutes or until vegetables are softened. Add t cooked oat and combined well. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using an ice cream scoop (1/4 cup), portion mixture. Form each portion into a ball and flatten slightly. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake 20 minutes until golden brown. Nutrition analysis per burger: 97 calories, 4 grams protein, 3 grams fat, 15 grams carbohydrates, no cholesterol, 80 milligrams sodium, 26 percent calories from fat. -----

Today made we the best oat pattie meat substitute here's how
In a medium saucepan bring three cups of water to a boil and add to that 3 cups of quick oatmeal Incorporate the water and the oatmeal and add another cup of water simmer this for ten minutes on low heat or until oatmeal becomes thick. Add cooked oatmeal in a large bowl and chop half of a small onion and half of a tomato mix this into the cooked oatmeal. Mix well then add
1teaspoon of onion powder
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1teaspoon of salt
And 1 tablespoon of jerk sauce ( this adds a kick of spice)
Mix this well. Well, oil your baking pan using a round-shaped thing like a cookie cutter to shape your patties. bake 400°F for 35minutes or until golden. And there you have it, perfectly made plant-based meat substitute. This does the job of any other meat patty. This is perfect for pasta, stir-fries, and of course burgers. Weather breakfast lunch or dinner this is a great meat substitute, enjoy!

2 Cups of Rolled Oats
2 Medium Carrots (150g), Grated
2 Medium Zucchini (200g), Grated
1 Medium onion, Sliced
2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced or 1/2t of Garlic Powder
1/4t Cumin Powder
1t Himalayan Salt
Bake in a preheated oven at 360degrees for 15 minutes then turn and bake for another 10minutes.
