20 ea Ritz Crackers 2 c Water 1 1/4 c Sugar 2 ts Cream of tartar 1 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Nutmeg 2 ts Butter Combine water, sugar, cream of tartar and bring to a boil, drop in crackers whole and continue boiling until transparent, about 8-10 min. Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle on cinnamon and nutmeg and dot with the butter. Cover with top crust, cut slits in crust to let steam out.Bake in 425 oven 30 to 40 min. -----
