Heat oven to 350 F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 2. In saucepan, melt butter. Add peanut butter; stir until peanut butter is melted. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. 3. Remove 1-3/4 cups batter; stir cocoa into this part. Spread chocolate batter into prepared pan. Spread remaining batter over top. 4. Bake 30 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 16 servings
INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 cup unsalted butter 3/4 cups milk chocolate chips 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, natural 2 tbsp. sugar 6 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line an 8×8 inch square pan. Chop the Reese’s into small chunks. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Melt together unsalted butter and chocolate chips in the microwave. In a large bowl, whisk the melted chocolate mixture, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Mix the peanut butter and 2 tbsp. sugar. Place dollops of the mixture on top of the brownie batter, then use a knife to swirl. Sprinkle with Reese’s bits. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack to cool for 20- 30 minutes until slightly firm and warm.
