How To make Pinto Bean Bread
BLEND IN LARGE BOWL:
2 c Milk-lukewarm
2 pk Dry yeast
ADD:
2 c Cooked, mashed, unseasoned
Pinto beans 2 tb Sugar
2 ts Salt
2 tb Shortening
STIR IN:
5 c Flour <5-6c>
Add enough flour to handle dough easily. Turn onto floured board and knead until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning once. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size, about 1 hour. Punch down, cover, and let rise again until almost double. Divide dough into tow portions and shape into loaves. Place in greased pans; cover, let rise until almost double, about 45 mins. Bake 350 for 50 mins.

- 2 cups of leftover cooked pinto beans or 1 can of pinto beans
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/4 tsp. of salt
- 1/4 tsp. of pepper
- oil (about 4=5 TLB. enough to cover the bottom of the pan)

Homemade Pinto Bean Bread
Hello and welcome to Old Ways Gardening and Prepping.???? Would like to welcome you each in to the kitchen with me on this beautiful evening. Tonight we are going to be making a old favorite recipe of mine for pinto bean bread.
It is a very simple and delicious bread that you can easily make. Love old recipes that only call for a few ingredients and the end result is delicious. This recipe was passed down through a dear friend of my Grandmother's so want to keep the Tradition alive and thriving.
Below is the recipe for this amazing bread. Just like I said in the video you can substitute any bean or bean mixture that you enjoy.
Pinto Bean Bread
2 cups of mashed/refried pinto beans
2 cups of warm milk
2 TBsp's of melted butter
1 TBsp of salt
1 TBsp or 2 pouches of yeast
5-6 cups of all purpose flour or bread flour plus extra for kneading
