How To make Peppy Pizza Pies
10 oz Hungry Jack Biscuits
10 oz Pizza sauce
1/4 ts Oregano
1/2 lb Ground beef; browned and
-drained 8 oz Pepperoni; sliced
4 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
(1 cup) 2 tb Parmesan Cheese
Heat oven to 400~. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Seperate dough into 10 biscuits. Press or roll each to 5" circle forming 1/4 inch rim around outside edge. Spread 2 tablespoons sauce just to edges of pizza; sprinkle each with small amount of oregano. Top with pepperoni, ground beef and cheeses. Bake at 400~ from 12-15 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Remove from cookie sheet. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 10 pizzas.

This video contains the recipe and process to make your own White Clam Pizza at home! After a visit to Frank Pepe's Pizza in New Haven Connecticut while on a Taste of New Haven pizza tour, I was inspired to create my own version of the legendary and famous pizza by Pepe's. The recipe is designed to be flexible (use your own dough and ingredient quantities) and simple. The pizza itself is so simple, there really isn't a need for super complex and detailed recipe. My whole purpose with this video is to show you how it can be done and let your imagination run wild with the possibilities of putting your own spin on White Clam Pizza. Comment with questions!

My FAV pie from the day was the fresh tomatoes from Pepes! This was our last stop of the day and I could have eaten the entire pie it was THAT GOOD! That specific pie is seasonal so make sure you inquire about what pie they currently have when you decide to go.
I also enjoyed trying the clam pies at Pepe and Zappardis bc I haven't had anything like it before! Have you been to any of these spots? Which is your fav?
