Peppermint Fudge #shorts
The holiday season is all about fudge to me! I believe fudge is best to enjoy during this time of year. Maybe it was because my grandmother and mom would always make fudge for Christmas! ????
I thought this would be the perfect year to make my own fudge and add a bit of peppermint flavor to it, along with crushed candy canes on top!
Ingredients ????
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup white chocolate chips
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 (14 ounces) Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
• 1/3 cup crushed candy canes
Directions ✍️
• Line an 8x8 square pan with foil and cooking spray.
• Into a microwave-safe bowl add in the semi-sweet chocolate chips with half of a (14 oz) Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk. Microwave at 40 seconds at a time until fully melted and smooth. Add the vanilla in and mix.
• Pour all the chocolate into the pan and spread to cover the entire pan.
• Into a second microwave-safe bowl add in the white chocolate chips with the remaining half of Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk. Microwave at 40 seconds at a time until fully melted and smooth. Add the peppermint extract in and mix.
• Pour the white chocolate mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
• Sprinkle the white chocolate layer with the crushed candy canes.
• Allow the fudge to sit out for 4 hours at room temperature.
• Slice into squares and enjoy!
