Directions:
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Use a nonstick pan, or use the nonstick spray. Combine everything else in a blender until smooth. Pour batter into the pan to make 5-inch circles. When the edges harden, flip the pancakes. They should be light brown. Cook the other side for the same amount of time.

Every time you see IHOP'S pancakes am sure you wonder how they’re mad, and if you could make these buttermilk pancakes at home. Well no matter if you are a beginner chef or a pro chef these pancakes are for everyone. Everyone can make ihops world famous pancakes at home. So get into your kitchen and lets make these maple syrup doused buttermilk pancakes from ihop at home!
Recipe:
1 cup buttermilk or 1 cup whole milk
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup whole milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract, optional
Butter to finish
Maple syrup to finish
Into a large bowl, add all purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Whisk together until fully combined.
Then, to the mixing bowl, add buttermilk, whole milk, egg, egg yolk, and vegetable oil. Whisk until homogeneous, being careful not to overmix. Optionally, vanilla extract can be added for an extra pop of flavor.
Preheat a griddle, or non-stick skillet, over medium heat. Once to temperature, lightly spray with cooking spray.
Once hot, spoon ¼” dollops of the pancake batter. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.
Flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
Top with butter and drizzle with maple syrup to serve.

IHOP Copycat Pancakes (recipe)
1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Whisk in the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in bowl
Mix buttermilk, oil, and egg in a separate container
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add in the wet mixture and combine until flour is moistened, don't over mix
Preheat frying pan with a small amount of oil and wipe it off on medium low heat
Drop 1/4 cup batter or whatever size you want on the pan and cover
Once it has small bubbles, flip it over, but make sure the top is still a fluid consistency and cover with a lid
Once the bottom is browned to your liking take it off

1 teaspoon of salt (5g)
1 teaspoon of baking soda (5g)
2 eggs (Room Temperature)
1 cup of milk (240ml)
2 tablespoons of melted butter (28g)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (5ml)
*This recipe makes about 8-10 pancakes.
