Flank Steak Marinade Recipe (To Sear, BBQ Grill, OR Oven Broil)
5 MINUTE RECIPE!! Add TASTY flavor to steaks with this easy flank steak MARINADE recipe. PRINT IT: -- Use this for marinating Flank or Skirt steak for 2-24 hours. Then cast iron sear, BBQ grill or oven broil the beef to finish cooking them.

INGREDIENTS
1.5 lb flank steak (substitute skirt steak)
extra virgin olive oil (substitute vegetable oil)
soy sauce
Champagne vinegar (substitute white or red wine vinegar)
lime, juiced
honey
dijon mustard
garlic, minced
black pepper, ground
ginger, minced (optional)
red pepper flakes (optional)
cilantro, fresh chopped (optional)
HOW TO MAKE THIS STEAK MARINADE
- Whisk together steak marinade ingredients.
- Reserve ¼ cup of steak marinade for serving later.
- Add cilantro and flank steak to marinade.
- Marinate for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
- Sear / grill / broil marinated steak to to desired temperature.
- Rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve with reserved steak marinade.

Skirt Steak

Horseradish Root (grated)
Cook the skirt steak under the broiler on full heat for two minutes per side.
For Asian Salsa Verde:
mix a bunch of cilantro, 1/2 clove of garlic, the juice of 1/2 a lemon, a finger of ginger, salt, and olive oil in a food processor, or with an immersion blender.
Italian style:
Extra Virgin Olive oil and lemon
Mountain Style:
Freshly grated horse radish root.
QUICK & EASY FLANK STEAK RECIPE - OVEN BAKED - BEST WAY TO COOK FLANK STEAK INDOORS
Hi Everyone!
Today, I will share very easy flank steak recipe and this one is for a thinner cut. This is one of the easiest ways to cook flank steak indoors. The steak comes out very tender and since there is no marinade or sauces, this is a very healthy recipe as well.
Start by setting the broiler on your oven to HI.
Season the flank steak on both sides with kosher salt.
Place the flank steak 1 level bellow the top rack of the oven.
Broil the bottom side for 3 minutes.
Flip the flank steak over and broil the top side for 5 minutes.
Take the flank steak out and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Wash, season and bake on 350 degrees for 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours for well done.
Less time depending on your preference and add bbq sauce and let cook uncovered about 29 more minutes.
You can sear it if you like, but this is easy and keeps the steak very moist.
