How To make Mim's Cabbage Rolls
1 cabbage head
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup rice
uncooked
1/4 cup cold water
2 egg
1 can tomatoes :
peeled in juice

(16 oz.) crushed 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt :
to taste pepper to taste 1 freezer bag :

Separate cabbage into leaves; stack loosely in large skillet and add 1 " w ater. Cover and steam cabbage leaves until soft. Cool. Combine ground beef, nut meg, rice, water and eggs. Place 1/4 cup meat mixture in the center of each lea f; roll up and place seam side down in baking pan. To make sauce, mash canned t omatoes and mix with tomato sauce. Add brown sugar, lemon juice, salt and peppe r. Pour over cabbage rolls. To freeze: cover pan with aluminum foil. Flash free ze; place casserole inside freezer ba g. To prepare: thaw casserole completely before cooking. Bake covered dish in 4 00-degree oven for 1 hour; remove cover and bake 15 minutes more.

Ground pork 400 grams
1 egg
2 tsp of grated ginger
1/4 cup of diced scallion
1.5 tbsp of soy sauce [Pearl River Bridge Natural Brewed Light Soy Sauce:
2 tsp of sesame oil [Amazon link:
2.5 tbsp of homemade garlic chili sauce (It is optional. If you decide to skip it, be sure to adjust the saltiness and add some garlic in this recipe)
Fresh shredded cabbage 600 grams (season with some 1.5 tsp of salt and squeeze the liquid out you will end up with about 350 grams of cabbage)
NO.2 Spicy Beef Filling
500 grams of ground beef
2 tsp of grated garlic
1 tsp of grated ginger
1.5 tbsp of soy sauce [Pearl River Bridge Natural Brewed Light Soy Sauce:
1 tsp of salt
The spice mix we made
1 egg
1/3 cups of beef stock or water
1/3 cup of scallion
1/2 cup of diced onion
1/3 cup of diced cilantro
2 tbsp of hot oil
You will need a spice blender in this recipe:

1 small piece of cinnamon [
1 piece of bay leaf [
1 piece of star anise [
1/2 piece of black cardamon [
4 piece of clove [
1/4 tsp of white pepper [
1.5 tsp of Sichuan peppercorn [

350 grams of ground chicken meat
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1.5 tbsp of the water that we soaked the mushroom with
1/2 tsp of salt

3/4 cup of diced carrot
3 tbsp of scallion
NO.4 Shrimp and Bamboo Shoot Filling
10 ounces (283 grams) of peeled shrimp
8 ounces (226 grams) of ground pork
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1/4 tsp of white pepper
1 tsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of grated ginger
2 tsp of grated garlic
1 tbsp of corn starch
1 egg
3 tbsp of water
2/3 cup of the minced baby bamboo shoot
2/3 cup of minced carrot

1 Onion, chopped
1 package Beef Bacon
1 lb. Smoked Andouille Sausage cut into half inch rounds
1 ea. Yellow Bell Pepper medium, chopped roughly
1 ea. Green Bell Pepper medium, chopped roughly
1 tbsp. Kosher salt and Fresh Ground Pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp. Creole Seasoning (I used Sweet Smokie Joe's Creole Kick)
3 ea. cloves Garlic minced/pressed
2 tbsp. Butter (optional)

SALAD INGREDIENTS:
90g watercress
25g basil
25g mint
1/4 cucumber
1/2 carrot
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 red onion
30g purple cabbage
1 long green chili pepper
200g cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup canned chickpeas
25g alfalfa sprouts
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1 avocado
6-8 rice paper sheets
DIPPING SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup tahini
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp gochujang (
Directions:
1. Roughly chop the watercress and place in a large mixing bowl along with the basil and mint
2. Slice the cucumber and carrot into thin matchsticks. Thinly slice the red bell pepper, red onion, and purple cabbage. Add the veggies to the mixing bowl
3. Remove the seeds from the long green chili pepper and thinly slice. Then, slice in half the cherry tomatoes. Add these to the mixing bowl
4. Add the canned chickpeas, alfalfa sprouts and hemp hearts to the mixing bowl. Cube the avocado and add to the mixing bowl
5. Whisk together the dipping sauce ingredients
6. Pour some water onto a plate and soak a rice paper for about 10 seconds
7. To assemble the roll, place the wet rice paper onto a slightly wet cutting board. Then, place a small handful of salad onto the middle of the wrap. Fold over one side of the rice paper tucking the salad in, then fold in the sides and finish the roll
8. Set the finished rolls aside separate from one another. Serve along with some dipping sauce

In today's Cooking with Boris episode, we crack open a cabbage and roll it with meat in shape of spaghetti.
Cabbage rolls is traditional meal in many slav countries.
Recipe not simple at all and cooking process maybe more harder than operating reactor 4 after meltdown.
Ingredients:
1 big cabbage
100g rice
2 onions
4 carrots
4 cloves garlic
400g minced meat
salt and pepper
tomato sauce
water
bay leaf
dill (for falling from heavens)
serve with mayonez and sour cream
