How To make Mexican Pot Pie
Filling: 2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 c Each chopped onions and
Green peppers 1/2 c Each chopped celery and
Carrots (I used a good dash Celery Seed instead of the celery) 1 10 oz pkg. frozen corn
Slightly thawed 2 c Mixed beans (pinto & kidney
Or whatever you have) 1 1/2 ts Each cumin and chili powder
1 ts Oregano
16 oz Tomato sauce
1 tb Cornstarch
CORN brEAD CRUST TOPPING:
3/4 c + 2 tbsp yellow cornmeal
1/4 c + 2 tbsp flour (either white
Or wheat) 1 ts Baking powder
1 c Water
1 tb + 1 tsp oil
1 4oz can green chilies,
Drained ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS:
Vanilla yogurt or sour Cream Chopped tomatoes Saute garlic, onion, green pepper, celery, and corn in a dollop of vinegar for 10-15 minutes. Add more vinegar if necessary to keep from sticking. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring the cornstarch into the tomato sauce first. Bring mixture to a boil and spoon into a 9X13 baking pan sprayed with Pam. For the crust topping combine the cornmeal, flour and baking powder. Mix well. Combine water, oil and chilies and stir into dry mixture. Spoon onto the filling. Bake uncovered 30 minutes at 350F. TACO POT PIE!!!
Everything you love about tacos, stuffed inside a bowl, wrapped in dough and flipped upside down making all your cheesy dreams come true. RECIPE BELOW

Recipe
Pre made pizza dough
1/2 pound of ground beef
1 cup of shredded taco style cheese
1 cup of salsa
5 slices (per bowl) marble jack cheddar
Sliced jalapeños
Olive oil spray or olive oil
Step 1
Cook the ground beef until there is no longer any raw meat. Add the salsa and stir. Add the cheese and stir until it is fully melted and all the contents of the pan are combined.
Step 2
Spray an oven safe bowl or ramekin with olive oil. Layer about 4 slices of the cheese around the inside of the bowl. Use one last slice to cover the middle. Fill the inside of the ramekin or bowl with the ground beef mixture.
Step 3
Add slices of jalapeños along the perimeter of the meat. Stretch some pre made pizza dough with your hands. Gently cover the bowl with the dough. Spray or cover the dough with olive oil.
Step 4
Bake the bowl at 400 degrees F. for about 15-20 minutes or until the tops are browned.
Step 5
Release the bowl carefully with a fork. Cover in Pico de gallo.
Step 6

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie!! How to Make Pot Pie Recipe
Learn how to make one of the most comforting of all comfort food recipes of all time...chicken pot pie! Perfect for Sunday dinner on a cold winter weekend! Although this recipe takes some time, it's so worth it. Perfect for leftover roasted or rotisserie chicken, this pot pie has potatoes and vegetables in a creamy gravy all packed into a flaky double pie crust.
What you'll need:
approx. 3 cups of shredded cooked chicken
1 medium russet potato, cubed and cooked
1 stick (8 Tbsp) butter
1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup all purpose (plain) flour
2 cups (or a 15 oz. can) chicken broth/stock
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp seasoned sale**
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaf
1 1/2 cups frozen peas and carrots
2 pie crusts (top and bottom)
1 large egg
-In a large pot over medium high heat, melt butter.
-Add onions and cook just until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes. Add in flour, stir and cook for about 30 seconds.
-Slowly add in chicken broth while stirring to prevent lumps. Then add in milk, seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder and thyme leaf. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
-Once boiling and thickened, turn off heat and add in chicken, cooked potato and frozen peas and carrots. Gently stir to combine.
-Pour into 9 cake plate lined with a pastry pie crust, top with second pie crust and crimp edges.
-Make an egg wash with 1 large egg mixed with 1 tsp water and with a pastry brush, brush top of pot pie.
-Bake in a preheated 375*F oven for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown.
-Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
-Serves 6-8. Enjoy!
Seasoned salt recipe:
2 Tbsp salt
2 tsp white sugar
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
